safe to download from?

I need to download a pdf file for the owner's manual for our Sanyo DVW7100. The Sanyo website doesn't have it, but several other places do. Can anyone tell me if it's safe to download from either "mypdfmanuals.com" or "tvmanualsonline.com"?

Thanks,
Jann

Thanks, DA, I'll try them.

FWIW, I had WOT on my Mac laptop. But the FF upgrade 20.0 somehow disabled it. I haven't tried re-installing it.

Cheers,

if it did not come to you as a critical update and if you do not use programs that are saying they need .Net 3.5 to run then likely you can do with out it. I do only critical updates on my windows boxes. But each person has to determine that on their own.

Easiest way of course is to network the two computers with a switch or router depending on how you connect ... If of course you can use the program download that you have already paid for that is on your Desktop. Or you maybe can, if it has an available, or possible temporary borrow a slot and put a wifi pci card in the desktop then its simple ad/hoc to wireless transfer anything ,,, online prices I often notice are in the $15 area for wifi pci cards. Or try out openoffice.org ,, free alternate to the MS office group of many programs.

There's hundreds of sites that you can download from free. If you use pinterest that's a great source. I have several on my pinterest and Joann has a section dedicated to them. I don't know that particular site.I recognize several of the pictures there from some of the books I have bought. I think it looks OK.

How do I know which download is 'safe'?

Tried to respond to your question before but it looks like something went wrong because my comment can't be found.. Second try: Show Box Lite is a modified version of Show Box that doesn't have ads and doesn't use torrents. It also needs less permissions. I know because I happen to be the author of Show Box Lite. I got here because I use a service that automatically sends me a mail when Google finds a new search result for "Showbox Lite". To answer your question, here you can find more information and safe download links for Show Box Lite. The website provided by zep516 is legit but links to the official Show Box apk that has ads and uses some shady permissions. It also uses torrents, which can get you into trouble with your ISP. Hope this helps, Kind regards, ries

Well now using ether DA or shaddy's link I get WOT with red in all categories warning me off.

How using tv.manualsonline.com I get the right place.

Seems both of you neglected the period after the first 2 letters? ( tv. )

My computer teacher long ago told me that computers are basically stupid, if we don't supply the "exact" instruction to the computer it will fail, or as has been said "Garbage in is Garbage out.....

I cut and pasted her link into Google to review offerings. The ball continued to roll when I posted. I used History to double check its availability. It wasn't neglect. I omitted the period. Big difference.

It looks like I'm the culpret for typing it in wrong in the first place. Sorry.

I think I got a blank page too, but went back to where I found it on Google and went from there. Got my manual ok and neither Malwarebytes nor AVG found any nasties hanging around after.

Thanks, all.
