Baby to be has a name already:0

Well we still don't know if we are having a boy or girl but have decided on a name either way. With Peyton and Hayden we had the names for either boy or girl too, but Peyton Dean and Hayden Danielle if they were different sex. So drum roll please......

Hudson Sean Sich

Hudson just for the old cars and because it goes with the other kids names and we like the name. Sean is for our female Doctor. When I told her we were naming the baby after her she said that she didn't know if she should feel honored or guilty ( since her tying my tubes didn't work), But I told her she should feel honored, we love her as a doctor, my kids believe that Dr. Lawrence can fix anything. Even though we were obviously weren't planning on having another little one, we are so excited about it, and can't imagine not adding to our family.

Hudson is a wonderful name and will go well with your other names. I am hoping for a boy, because as much as I love the name "Hudson" (and I really, truly do,) I think it works better for a boy than a girl. All that said, names are so unisex these days that it probably doesn't matter.
Best wishes for an uneventful pregnancy.

I didn't know that, thanks for that tidbit of information (very cool!). The pot of 'Mamas' has been producing stolons for awhile now, but to see one of the babies produce a stolon while still connected to a 'Mama' is interesting! Planto

Do you think this is the BEST placement for this child? Do you believe there are no nice plain loving couples in America who want to adopt that would give this child a *normal* life? (Of course they exist. They've been waiting years to adopt. It looks pretty obvious that they were out-bid.) I'm curious about these "nice plain" couples......what constitutes "plain," and why is it good? Does this disqualify anyone who's involved in the arts, for instance? How about New Age homeschoolers? But to answer your question, Chisue, yes, I do think this is the best placement for the baby. His mother, who comes from a loving family and gives every indication of having her intelligent head on straight, thinks he's perfect and can't imagine life without him. Sounds good to me! And I also think there must be plenty of babies available to those nice plain couples. It's not as though Sandra Bullock's baby was the only one left.

Georgeanne..your great barn got me to play and search for pics of old garden structures. I'm still in inside chaos trying to finish things and trying to maintain focus, but love my garden/outdoors so it is difficult not to go there. My shed is still in the process of being finished, it has log sheathes for the outside, these are the strips with bark from cutting logs into lumber. In hindsight (as much as I love the look) I just reroofed my home and now have a monster pile of wood shingles which could have been used for siding the shed. Next idea is to use these for siding a half shed (self standing porch) where I can sit in the shade among the trees and kick back. I like rustic and have a long way to go getting the backyard in shape. Have always wanted to build an arbor with branches, fell upon a website out of Canada named HomeEnvy. This may be in the wrong thread or forum. But it has a lot of interesting diy and many fit well in working within our small house environment. The URL is instructions for building an arbor. I just pulled it as evenly as I could while my husband held the plant steady and we took turns doing that until it popped off. Only one little tooth is missing and it still stays on when you pop it on so, I'm not too worried about it. I have pothos on it now. Those are great for rooting pothos. You water em once and then water it like a regular plant because the bottom reservoir can hold a little water too. well...that's the only way I've had really successful pothos rooting/growing. i used a 6" terra cotta pot and it rooted, but all the growth was small and you could really tell they were struggling. I've since moved those to a glazed pot.

I too like Hudson a lot - but would prefer it for a boy. Either way it is a wonderfully strong name that the little one will carry.

LOL, Dawn, nice "belly" pic. I'm NOT posting pictures of mine, even though I haven't been pregnant for 20 years or so!

Hudson Sean is a good name, I like it. It does sound a little more masculine than feminine to me, but is nice either way.
