Speaking of the EPA & the admin.'s dismissal of whistleblower cases - yesterday on AAR's Laura Flanders Show, I heard the guest (from PEER) cite 1 example of employees exposed to berillium(sp?) w/o their knowledge - it was heinous >= ( (& altho it's a separate subject, I'd like to mention that yesterday on Ring of Fire, there was a report on mercury, children & neurological damage & figures cited were quite disturbing :something like 1/6 children w/ some sort of neuro damage/disability???!!! & the pieces of the puzzle are starting to fit - namely, discussion of the likely reason why there has been a legislative push to protect pharma companies from legal reprisals for damages from vaccines - & the recent passage of that bill RE: class action lawsuits.) iwoagirl2006, Thank you for the info on Microsoft PowerToys, I never heard of it before now. I will have to look this over, it sounds pretty neat. pkponder, is there a check next to Block Images and other external content in HTML email? There is no checkmark in that box. What type of picture file are you attempting to attach? I have some pictures from my camera (Kodak easyshare camera)and I took them from the Kodak gallery and transfered them into a folder. I then resized some of those pictures. I right click on the picture itself then choose send to, then Mail Recipient and it goes to Outlook Express. It's worked before but not now. I just happened to notice when I went to my other clipart folders that when I put my mouse on a clipart it is now showing Kodak Easyshare, those cliparts did not come from Kodak Easyshare they came from the Microsoft website where I got them from Microsoft Publisher to make cards. Why did Kodak easyshare take over my cliparts and how do I get it back to normal? Now I know what has happened the Kodak software is set as the default picture viewer. I don't know how that happened. How do I Change the application back to Windows Media Viewer? When it is set to the Media Viewer I can do everything in Outlook Express as I use to and open the paperclip to see the pictures that come in to me. The search that I did really doesn't help me much with this problem but it did let me know what happened and when I checked out every picture, clipart etc that I have in my folders it shows Kodak Easyshare .gif or jpeg etc. Now that I know what the problem is I need to know how to get my clipart etc to open with the Windows Picture Viewer. Any idea's? thirdfrt!!!

In my eMachine, in the Bios I can check the temperature, have you done this? Below is what I posted earlier. If your computer is getting hot it will cut off to protect the PC. If I had your computer I would want to know if your problem is in the hard drive or some were else. If you put your hard drive into another computer as a slave you can do 2 things. Error Checking and Copy your files to a CD. You can buy a hard drive enclosure for about $40.00 or less that will plug into a USB. This will allow you to remove your files. I'm not sure about running Error Checking from an enclosure. Ask someone. I bought one for mine for $20.00 from eMachine. --------------------------------------------------- If you can get an extra hard drive (Remove the old one) and use the eMachine Install CD (that you mention) the first thing your computer will want you to do is go online and Register it. You won't be allowed to use the computer except to Register. Just let the computer set and run, if it doesn't cut off than I would say the problem is in your hard drive.
