Can anyone help me get a webpage hosted?

Someone so graciously got this forum page permanently hosted for me. I'm not able to locate her anymore but have 2 or 3 other pages I need to get hosted. I've been to that website but can't seem to get it figured out. Can someone help me do this, please? Thanx in advance

Linked below is your Home page at Freewebs but so far it has not been edited and set up. You simply have that extra long thread. To add 2 or 3 more such pages really requires the Home page to be set up so that you can link off to any page you wish.

I assume you yourself initially set up the account for the Newlawns page at Freewebs? So you would (hopefully) have the name used to register your site and the password. DON'T post those here LOL but do you have that info? Without those 2 pieces of info life can be difficult, with them anything is possible.

What are your aims for these pages? I ask because Googling Newlawns finds nothing so your readers are sparse. Do you have a hit counter to show the number of visitors?

Once you login and figure out where the site manager link is it should be fairly simple if you know html basics.

I just started a home page and blog there to see. Blog could be a lot like this forum, an ongoing thing if you set it to not allow posters.

Hi Mike, Dont buy the oxypetalum. I am sending you a few pieces of this one. It is true that they grow like crazy. I left this one at my parents house when I moved out because it does take a tremendous amount of space. I got a call from my mom and she told me that she was waiting for the day that that was going to strangle her..LOL. Once you have an established cutting, you can expect some new growths to be a couple feet long. No joke, mine had some growths that were 4 ft long in one summer!! The blooms are great! Just make sure your going to be home to enjoy them! Mine only lasted one night and that was it. As soon as the sun went down, the bud would begin to open. By the time the sun came up, it was closing. Logees describes it as having flowers the size of dinner plates. I had some that were even larger than that!!! Mine is pitifull now compared to when it was in its glory. I wished I would have found a way to care for it here. At one point, that plant was around 10ft long but I have had it for over 10 years. You can control the growth with pruning. Just make sure you do it at the right time or you will end up with no blooms. I will have to read up on my notes on this before I can tell you when to prune it. I can send you 3-4 nice cuttings next week with the others if you want okay? I also have a nice big pink epi. I don't know the name of the variety but it is really pretty. Trust me, neither of them will take a lifetime to get blooms from. My oxy bloomed in 1.5-2 years after I got it. I started a couple for friends and the one I gave to my landlords mom bloomed the same year I rooted it! The pink variety I bought locally and they had rooted cuttings with buds on them. I will say that it may take a couple years for those blooms to reach there potential. Andrew

Hi Linda: I never thought of pesticides. Come to think of it I have not seen a ground hog, skunk, or racoon lately either. The ground hogs always attacked my swiss chard, and ate the apples which dropped from my tree. There are definitely no pesticides on my property and the neighbours on either side have small kids and work so they just plunk in a few annuals from the nursery each year. We live in the suburbs and there are a few farms nearby: mostly corn and strawberries. However, they have recently been bought out by a larger outfit and I wonder about their methods. I commented to neighbours recently that you don't see any worms in the corn, which were present when 'old Henry' ran the farm organically. I must investigate this more fully. I definitely have fewer bees, and I have seen several yellow jackets rather slow moving and listless. I get some butterflies attracted to my Blue Fortune, but that's about it. It really is sad. I must make an effort to check other parts of the neighbourhood. Thanks for your ideas.

If they were shared or your family and friends are folks that would order individually but share at the table, I would do appetizers 2,4 and 6 -- thinking two safe bets and one outside the box that most people would probably enjoy trying. If they are going to be ordered individually and not shared then either 1,2 and 4 or 2,4 and 5. For the entree, I am going to be the one to disagree. While DH likes Ceasar salad, I find it over done -- as in too often and overpowering garlic. I would much rather have the arugala salad as an option. To that I would add the salmon, either the ribs or pork shank and the beef. My guess is most kids would like the burger or the ribs if they didn't love one of the others, so I'd probably not chose the burger -- but again, you know your crowd.

Djacob, here's a laugh for you...I thought for some reason both posts were about the same plant! Dhaven suggested RF first in the other post and Don did too....then suggested it in this one too. I am now befuddled....but whilst in that befuddled stupor I still think both are RF... you can also not pay any attention to me at this hour, lol.

Thanx for trying to help me, guys, but honestly I have no idea what you're trying to tell me. As I mentioned, someone did this for me, so I know nothing about it, have no passwords, know no HTML for getting it done, and don't have access to anything concerning that page. I wasn't necessarily trying to add to that page. I was showing that page as an example of what I need to do with a couple other GardenWeb forum pages, just as that page once was. I tried doing this once before with the understanding I don't have to know HTML and the site instructions will walk me through the setup, but I couldn't get it to work out. And the main thing was I couldn't figure out how to load a GardenWeb forum page to it like she did with that page. I guess the person who did it knows HTML, so woe am I. I expected it would be something fairly simple but it looks like it isn't. I'll just keep trying to contact her. Thanx again.
