I would tend to doubt that they would bother getting CSA certification to supply only the Canadian market when adding US certification would bring much more business for a small additional outlay. It is much more likely this range has just been left in the generic Euro web pages used here by oversight and isn't sold in Canada.

Try an email to Purcell-Murry and Aga-Marvel to confirm. Perhaps it will be brought over eventually.

In a recent Aga Legacy vs. Cornufe thread, I learned that they were in many ways the same thing. The styling is different of course, but if you don't mind the looks and can't find the 90, maybe the Legacy would suit you? There was a review of the Legacy, either in that thread or another, too, mainly concerns about the smallness of the square oven and how long it takes to heat up.

Thanks. Yes, the AGA Legacy is my 2nd choice. I'm not as jazzed about the looks, but if I can't find the CornuFe 90 with the 2 ovens, I may go for the legacy.

Also, as you mention, I've been warned by many about the smallness of the ovens. I just measured my 13 1/4 quart Le Creuset round dutch oven, and it would just *barely* for into the AGA square oven. Neither of my 4 favorite baking/sheet pans (I use them all the time to roast veggies) would fit.

Now I"m thinking I may just get a single 36" oven range to replace my 36" cooktop, and either leave my 30" wall oven as is, or replace it with a smaller, compact wall oven. That way, I'll have the double ovens without worrying about cramming things into the AGA or CornuFe.

Can I just clarify something I mentioned on another thread. The Aga Legacy and the LaCornufe have lots of similarities. But they are not exactly the same thing. However my searches today found a LaCornufe in the guise of a Falcon Continental. Now they are exactly the same thing with different knobs and a little extra styling on the front of the La Cornufe. The falcon Continental retails for about half the retail price of a Lacornufe. I am flabbergasted. Absolutely shocked. I just couldnt believe my eyes when I saw the Falcon interior and cooktop. (At Dalzells of Markethill near Armagh in Northern Ireland UK.) Still can't believe it. Surely there must be a mistake. I am going to take photos next time just to be sure, of all the little details I see on these rangecookers and then compare them on here.

What was most interesting was that the Falcon Continental had all the same problems as the LaCornufe. THe door wouldnt close right. The racks stuck and scraped against the sides of the oven as I pulled them out. And the bottom storage drawer bounced back at me when I tried to close it. Oh dear.

I don't doubt the Falcon Continental is the same beast exactly as the LCF. That was another reason over here in the US I balked at paying the price & ridiculous shipping cost for the LCF. It is completely overpriced, unless you adore the cosmetics of the unit. It sounds like you are still range shopping! Did you see a Mercury yet?
