Rating/ranking of bath fixtures

We need to do master bath remodel in FL house we have. The water in that area is acidic---the original copper plumbing was replaced by previous owners we bought from with PEX systm...they maybe replaced some of the bath fixtures at that time with chrome. Current fixtures don't seem to spot much or get water calcification but also worried about the internal valves--
This is a house built in '78 in neighborhood of single story ranchers from 1500-2400 sq ft --some of them are patio homes w/single car garages... meaning the price point is only going go high...
It won't pay us to overdo with $$$ fixtures--
We are drawn to chrome, polished/plain nickel, pewter vs ORB--we have that in TX house (Moen and Delta) and want something lighter...but in traditional style--not contemporary/modern...

How would you rate the various makers of bath fixtures on finishes and longevity? Plumber on Houzz thread said that the Delta faucets were now the best in his opinion for money/value...but know many people are using other names I have no real experience with...
web site reviews can often be manipulated as well--so trust posters here at elast not to be "planted"...and we won't be buying from HD or L--
have ordered stuff before on line from reputable sources and happy to do so again--

We need two wide-spread fauctes for the sinks and a nice-forceful-shower head (not rainhead) with a wall-mounted hand spray...no body sprays--
also need at least one grab bar inside shower considering we are "aging in place" as we speak...And for what its worth--the two sinks are not in same area as the shower/toilet so we could even get away with having two brands with slightly dissimilar finishes since they won't be side-by-side...
Not that there is really a need for that at this point...

Appreciate any info--
