I can't rank all the other bathroom fixtures but I can tell you I've never had one minute's trouble out of my Delta faucets. That and the unbeatable customer service is why I continue to use them. Seven years ago when we did the master bath remodel, I chose Jado only because they offered the exact style I was looking for. ( BTW, no issues with it either after 7 years and I prefer the brighter brushed nickel on this faucet than other brushed nickel finishes I've seen.) Delta had something close to the Jado but after I saw the Jado nothing else would do. I agree with the plumber on Houzz. A Delta Addison single hole Brilliance Stainless (brushed finish) will be installed in DH's bathroom on Monday.

My plumber, also says Delta is the best.
My brother, who lives in Nacogdoches, very acidic area, has Delta Victorian in ORB and the finish has not been an issue. They have had it 12 years or so. My mother also has it in polished chrome. I have had the delta polished chrome with brass cross handles and the finish on them is still perfect after 17 years. They had the brilliant/lifetime finish.
Since we are doing our remodel( tear out is Dec 1), One of our top choices was in the Delta traditional line was Cassidy. Cassidy does not make a handshower in the collection but Delta makes traditional accessories line that the color completely matches. Another choice, that does have a hand shower was Delta Addison. Delta also has a great feature that instead of having a separate shower head and hand held, the handheld is part of the showerhead. I am putting this in the boys bathroom It is wonderful in my parent's guest bath and our teenagers love it when they stay over. It comes in other collections. This is just the one we did, called Trinsic.

zookeeper, I'm about 2.5 hours north of Nacogdoches :) My kitchen Delta faucet is 12 years old. It's the Victorian in Venetian Bronze.

We did big remodel on house we had moved out of and planned to sell--
I wanted ORB and got Delta fixtures--
our son lived there for several years before we put it on the market and they were in good shape when he moved out (he wasn't the neatest person) and had house cleaned prior to going on market--
and we have Delta Victorian here in current home with some Moen in ORB--they are different finish--
Personally I would not have done that --mixed brands--and I can tell the difference pretty easily but I bet my husband doesn't pay attention...
And as I said the sinks are in separate area from the shower--so vanity is not open to shower area like in most baths...

I saw the Cassidy line -- don't think the Victorian comes in the brilliant finish--
will check out the Brizo--didn't know it was a Delta co...

How about Kohler sink faucets? Any feedback from anyone?

Addison, in Delta's Transitional line, comes in Brilliance stainless and Brilliance champagne bronze. Several other lines come in the stainless as well. Delta's Cassidy (Traditional) and Dryden (transitional) come in Brilliance Polished Nickel.
The same Brilliance finishes are available in Brizo. Become good friends with someone whom you can get their pricing at the plumbing show room. They really like their stuff and are higher than Delta.

We too are getting renos done and our plumber sells delta and many other brands but Delta is by far his favorite. We got Delta lahara for handheld shower on rail and Delta Monitor 7 valve. Aquabrass for rainhead.

Our Delta Addison (Brilliance Stainless) single hole vanity faucet was just installed Monday. I KNOW I will like it...I do like it, it's just a shock after living with one thing for 33 years and going to such an extreme opposite style. It's a bit taller than I thought it would be but I'd rather it be that way instead of those low ones that make it nearly impossible to get both hands under.

I've been told and read several times that Delta is plumber "user friendly" and that's the reason plumbers like that line so much.

We had Moen in our previous house for 8 years without any problems. Currently we have Kohler for everything except the kitchen faucets, which are Grohe. No problems with the finish on the Kohler or Grohe after 10 years either. Finishes are either chrome or satin nickel depending on the room.

I kind of liked the Moen lifetime warranty on the fixtures we had. I needed to replace a cartridge at one point and called up their help line. Told them the faucets came with the home (new construction) and they shipped me a new cartridge just like that. When I needed to change a Kohler cartridge last year I had to ante up $150 or so for it because the warranty had expired. The Kohler does have a more solid feel than Moen though, so I prefer it regardless.

Yikes! $150 for a cartridge? :o Delta has that same lifetime warranty too (including the finish).
