Red Rose tea isn't Canadian anymore, it is owned by Lipton. I didn't like it when they changed the packaging from the green and white box with the red rose to an orange coloured box. Even though I drink it still, somehow it doesn't taste the same as the old Red Rose Tea. While I was drinking my tea earlier I was thinking about mugs. When I was a child mugs were used for cocoa, coffee and shaving cream. LOL As far as dunking donuts in tea I have never done that but I used to love cookies dunked in tea and the best of all was hot toast with peanut butter dunked in my tea. I can't have anything with peanuts anymore so I really miss that. LOL Moni, my Aunt in North Bay used to have a koffeeklatsch with all the neighbour ladies. I loved it whenever I visited there.Sometimes they were more elaborate than any of the high teas I have been to. My Mom always had the ladies over for tea in our house. LOL Lori, you made me laugh because my Mom held her pinky finger up but she didn't do that until she had Alzheimers. I used to get a big kick out of it and I would ask her if she was having "tea with the Queen" LOLOL In many British families "Tea" can be a meal just like lunch is and it can be a hearty meal at that. Grandma used to say "come for your tea" which translated meant "come for lunch" Sometimes it was the heartiest meal of the day. Tea is not just a beverage, it is social gathering with friends and family. Anne

I just finished my second book by author Marty Wingate. This one is RED BOOK OF PRIMROSE COTTAGE. It is laid in England current time, and the heroine is a girl landscape designer from Texas who had an English mother. She spent a year in England (see first volume) trying to get a job as head gardener to take care of an historical British garden. There was a murder, first and second story, the writing is sprightly, she is a new author so one day she may be a real Agatha Christie! I liked both books because there was a lot of description of plants and historic garden design, and of the people she met. The story had depth, and if you like gardening such as cottage style or British style, you'll enjoy he horticultural descriptions. I liked the first one so much I preordered the second one. I guess they are available in print, but I got them both as ebooks on my Kindle. I like to read the Kindle Fire in bed, because I can turn off the light and change the Kindle background to black with white letters, and it disturbs no one, and I simply lay it down when I'm ready to buzz off. Oh yeah. Sometimes between books I play Mahjong, just my favorite style games, and the ritual of it seems to lull my mind into a state of tranquility, and sleep is always nearby.

I just talked to DH and he is going to pick up some rain ponchos when he goes to get dog food. DD has a book about Disney. And she got something else online that tell you which days are better for each park in terms of crowds. I think it is also somewhat personalize based on the kids ages. We will be taking a double stroller (one child sits/one stands) with us. The double stroller rental is a ridiculous $31 a day with a $100 deposit. - Not gonna happen. Sounds like the tea cups will be about the right speed for little kids and old ladies. We are not staying on Disney property. We have a condo at Terra Verde Resort. Liz, if you don't mind you can turn the head down a tad. Somewhere is the low 80s would be nice. Linda
