Vista Compabability

I now have Vista. Beware when downloading new programs. I completley locked up the thing. I thought it would say incompatible when downloading. Rep told me to go to each hardwares company's website and check for compatability and new drivers.

    Typical experience...check this, check that, call everybody. Did all that when XP was new. Never again.

    I'd like to put in a plug for Brother Corp. I have a cheapie 4 in 1 fax, copier, scanner, printer that I bought over two years ago. I received an e-mail from Brother giving information about software for Vista. Included in the e-mail were links to use for the various models they make. Now I call that service!

    I have a HP printer and an Epson scanner. I had to go to their sites to check about updated drivers to use with Vista.

    I have no intention of changing from XP to Vista soon, but it is nice to know that these are available.
