Photobucket Problem

I used to be able to log into my Photobucket account and it would give me the 'regular' page, showing my foders, the last few pics loaded, and a much more user-friendly screen.

I am now getting only non-graphics page - text only, with no keys to indicate how to, among other actions, upload pictures.

I should mention that my computer is WebSensed (it's a Internet monitor/censor software) and I had to get my IT fellow to allow me to access Photobucket. I can apparently access my account, but I feel that there's some sort of mini-firewall/enabler that's not on which is preventing me from being able to have full functionality with graphics.

I can send you a screenshot of the screen I get after I log into Photobucket if you PM me.

Hi Jeff,

You can send me a screen shot and I'll see if I can maybe help. I know P-bucket changed some things a while back and the link I had saved was in a different (not much liked) format, until a clicked on a link. I then saved that new link to my favorites.

I hope others will also post, since I may not be of much or any help.

I'll email you via GW since you have your setting to show email addy to NO ONE. If you don't get ir (as GW email has not been very reliable in the past) just drop me an email. You can see my email addy on the GW email form.

I now get a different page also but on that page it has a clickable link to my albums which when I click on it I get back to the page of my album and my pictures as it has always looked, and where I have the option to upload. Do you have the option to click on your albums?

VERY strange, indeed. I must admit I'm loath to visit photobucket again, for I can't imagine it was just coincidence that the only 2 times I've gotten that durn antivirus junk was when I was there. I guess, though, I'll have to try it again....glad to hear you didn't have the problem and hope I won't, again, either.

I haven't been having any problems with my photobucket account although I notice one thing seems to have changed. In the past, when I clicked on the 'html' link it automatically copied it. Now, I have to click on the picture to open it in Photobucket, then select and copy the html link. Then I can paste it directly into a message. Try that and see if it works for you. This is a test:

Photobucket problem? On occasion I get an e-mail with someone sending me pictures using the Photobucket service. Of all things, Photobucket says "I must" register with them to see the pictures. That's rediculous. I can sort of understand the sending party might be asked to do so, but never the receiving party! No way. Regards, Gene
