I am having the same problem. Photobucket keeps updating and I don't adapt to these changes. Maybe it will work better tomorrow.

I'm a Photobucket user too ladies. May I ask are you copying the 3rd line of code (my Photobucket give 4 lines of code stuff); I think the 3rd line is the HTML. Seems only the 3rd line works for me & is then visible as a pic when one looks at the preview.

I posted some pix to Cactus & Succulent Forum, Houseplants on the wknd, they went up OK. Yesterday I posted pix to Hoya Forum that went OK too.

Even though it says 'copied', I actually do copy it instead of taking their word for it and haven't had any problems. I've posted pictures in the gallery in the last couple of days with no problem.

I have wasted the entire evening on Photobucket! I used the HTML code and copied 1 picture #09 and then went to my document and pasted . No picture. Went to another picture #14 selected HTML and then pasted in my document...no picture but the link code said I was using picture #09. I even tried using IMAG and the same thing and again it says Pic #09. I am thinking there is s malfunction at Photobucket.

Not sure how to ask this: are you going thru the Browse feature to do your copying, as opposed to just copying?

Sometimes I find it helpful to open a blank Word doc at the same time & also cut & paste it there (especially when doing multiples). Then I save the Word doc after cutting & pasting each item (specially if I'm inserting text in btwn).

That way, if something malfunctions or one needs to do it again, it's likelier to just have to redo ONE prior item, rather than the entire thing w/ several (or numerous) items.

Heard a good suggestion today, know any kids you can ask to pls. help you w/ this?

I'm not very computer savvy, but isn't the HTML and IMG thingys for "attaching" to internet sites? When I want to save a picture in my documents, I right click and 'copy' then go to the document, right click and paste.

I think the problem was with Photobucket as I went in the next nite and had no problems. It was copying but not pasteing. It sounds like Jean was haveing the same issue.

I still cannot post pictures anywhere. I have a new laptop with Windows Vista and I may be missing a step. Everyone has been so helpful with suggestions and I have tried them all and it still doesn't work.

I just posted some pics here from photobucket. It was the first time in a long time I'd done it & didn't get it right the first couple of tries.

I had to use the THIRD line (labeled HTML code), NOT the fourth line. Even tho when you click it, it said "copied" I still did a computer "copy" then "pasted" it in the forum message block.

Another useful tip is to use "tabs" on your browser: One tab is opened to the quilt forum here and the other tab is opened to photobucket. That way I just switched back & forth easily between the 2 sites.
