I just uploaded a few photos from our trip to NYC during Thanksgiving. I didn't use the bulk uploader and I got alot of errors for photos not loading. What I noticed different is if I uploaded to a generic album, ie PJFarm and then wanted to move them all to a new album specific to what the pictures pertain to, it use to open a window which would allow me to either move to another existing album or create a new one. I noticed it didn't allow me that option of creating a new album this time. I had to create the new album and then move all the photos. A two step process instead of just 1 step. Maybe I missed something? I also have ad blocker for Firefox but there is an ad streaming when you upload. Can't figure out yet how to turn off the volume yet. Julia

My question is: What is a Proxy/Firewall? I just recently downloaded Norton Antivirus 2009 and I understand that it has an inbound firewall. When I went to My security center it shows that the Windows Firewall is on. I shut it off and when I did the red shield with an X in the middle of it(Windows Security Alert) showed up on my taskbar. I can't find anywhere where it says on the box that Norton Antivirus 2009 has a firewall. But I read on another forum that this particular version does have a firewall inbound only. This is very confusing. If I do have a firewall from Norton then I need to shut off the Windows Firewall right? If so then how do I get rid of that red shield with the X in the middle of it? Finally I will let you know that everything is back to normal and I am thinking maybe it was their site? Not sure though. thirdfrt!!! Hi jean001, If your machine is still slow, when you get time post a Hijackthis log and I will look at it for you. It could prove to be very beneficial here are instructions, Click Here to download HJTInstall.exe Download the one on the left Version 2.0.3 (Beta) Save HJTInstall.exe to your desktop. Doubleclick on the HJTInstall.exe icon on your desktop. By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Click on Install. It will create a HijackThis icon on the desktop. Click on the Do a system scan and save a logfile button. It will scan and the log should open in notepad. Click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" and Paste the entire contents of the log into your next post. DO NOT use the AnalyzeThis button, its findings are dangerous if misinterpreted. DO NOT have Hijackthis fix anything yet. Most of what HJT lists will be harmless or even required by your Operating System.
