I'm not sure you can load pictures from a cell phone directly onto the gardenweb site. Your best bet would probably be to get an account with a photo hosting service like PhotoBucket. Then you can link from here to the picture in PhotoBucket. Or, you can go to the gallery section of this forum and load a picture from your computer into the gallery. HTH, Lois in PA

Does that make sense? Yes and no. Hole in back of drawer; outlet in wall. Okay... open drawer, put phone and charger in drawer, plug charger's cord into outlet (huh? you squiggle the charger's cord through a hole to the outlet?), and then close drawer? No no, that can't be right. Ah... all the recharging cords already run through the hole to the outlet so you just reach into the drawer and grab the right recharger and plug into your phone? Okay that sounds good... but where are those cords when the drawer is being opened and closed? (I'm seeing them squished between the drawer back and the outlet, or else being pulled back and forth through the hole.) And is it okay to leave the plugged-in charger sitting in the drawer unused [but "hot"] while the phone is in your pocket? I guess I'm missing something obvious... please pass the caffeine....

If your phone has a card slot the micro cards can be had for $10 or so and come with the adapter. Your manual should tell you up to what size card you can use. If your computer does not have card slots then a multi card reader can also be had cheap. That would be my preferred option and it's so easy to do. It seems stupid they require the card for the cable to work with the computer when you can just bypass the cable and use the card directly into a card reader on the computer. Here are some links to what I am talking about. The micro card is placed into the adapter that comes with and then inserted into the card slot on the computer. This micro card reader I picked up at a chain called 5below stores for $5 but you can get a bigger multi card reader for other cards for $10 or a little more. The little micro reader the cap comes off the each end and one end you inser the micro card without the adapter and the other end plugs into the USB port and up pop your photos for saving. Also your manual should tell you how to make the card the defualt for saving pictures so when you take a photo it won't be saved on the internal memory of the phone but rather the card. Initally when you get the card you pop it into the phone and the phone should format it with various folders to drag and drop photos and ringtones too from the computer if you want to get stuff onto the phone. I misplace my TV remote enough that I don't want to be looking for my one and only phone. I have a 10 room two story house and wouldn't even hear the phone unless it was strapped on my body. I have three phones downstairs and they are always on their stands when not in use. The cell is in the car because I always forgot to bring it in the house. It's not a smart phone,( we opted for an iPad instead) just a flip top Samsung and we 're not on a program. We "buy" minutes every year and it's pretty cheap. Our phones are part of our Verizon bundle... My son has only a cell phone, no land lines and kept his old number.
