At one time I had a "catalog"....more like a few pages , of all the sizes and names and shapes of Mason's Vista. And I do believe the large platter I havew as the largest they had. The catalog I have? had is from the mid 1950's....maybe it's still in the bottom of a drawer somewhere> When we were first married, we had found a gift shop in Windsor Canada that had a large selection of Mason's pink vista. And we could order up to $10 worth duty free that would come in as unsolicited gift. And at that time a cup and saucer were $1.25 USD....and a dinner plate was $.90. I filled out my everyday use stuff that way. We were hard on sandwich plates and cereal bowls> Just looking at my picture from 13 years ago and my cupboard now....and think I have added 2 coupe soup plates> I have platters in several places....I will have to dig them out and measure and see just what I have

You can use two different operating systems. If you don't have a wireless router (LinkSys, Belkin, Netgear, etc.) you will have to buy and install one. You plug your cable connection that now goes to your computer into the back of the new router, and run another wire (Cat 5) from the new router to the back of the computer. That will take care of your current connection. Then you need to setup the new laptop to receive the wireless signal. This is pretty easy if you have some technical knowledge, but, since you're asking basic questions, I'm presuming it might be a challenge for you. Get a friend who is a knowledgeable to help, or call up the company that makes your new router and have them walk you through it if you can't follow the instructions that will come with it. Also make sure that you have security set on the new router so the teenager down the block can't steal your signal and/or get into your system and mess up the info on your computers. If all of this sounds like too much of a challenge, you should be able to find a computer tech in the Yellow Pages who does this stuff for a fee. Good luck.

Hi DA, Yes I did think of Open Office and since you just confirmed it will work with Vista I will suggest it to them as an alternative. I considered the option of just trying Office 97 to see if it would install and work. Not sure of that option. I poked around on the MS Support site but couldn't find anything about it. I'm not very good at using MS Support. I may poke around there a bit more. Pooh Bear

Hi Mikie, I asked because when I tried to add a fourth to my laptop I ran into problems. I wanted to have a mailbox on the laptop that was not on the PC so I could get mail on the laptop that wouldn't be picked up on my main computer. When I got the laptop I set up the same three mailboxes there that were already on the PC. They worked fine, and still do. All went well adding the fourth box until I tried to send it mail to make certain it was working OK. When it starts checking for new mail it pops up a screen asking for my name and password. That's annoying by itself, but no matter how many times I answer the prompts, the same screens keep returning. I am stuck in a loop of name and password requests. I am on two active lists so I like to have several mailboxes and IDs.
