Know of any good Reading/Book Forums?

User

When I found this Cooking Forum I had a sense that I had a lot in common with the posters. This has become my favorite site. The "regulars" contribute graciously and seldom does a day go by that I don't find a new tip, technique, or recipe.

I love to read and am disappointed to say that I don't feel quite the same way about GW's Reader's Paradise. It's not that people aren't nice - it's hard to describe - but it's just not a good fit for me.

I would like to find a book forum that is a reader's equivalent to this cooking forum. My taste in books is similar to my taste in food. I go for quality writing and like spending time with a book that challenges and teaches me somethiing, but it doesn't have to be all high brow. I equate most chick lit to junk food, but just as I'm not above savoring French fries a couple times a year, once in a while after finishing a heavy read I don't mind something light and frothy, if it's well written.

Any suggestions?
