deleted files accidentally

Is there any way to get files back after acidentally deleting them, autoplay was one of them.

I tried system restore but that didn't work.

I don't want to lose everything I have saved on the computer by using the system operations cd.

Have you looked in the recycle bin?

You can put pictures on 1 CD and
Your Documents on another CD.
This is just good practice against
future loss.
Make a Backup of Everything on your
Computer ever so often.
Delete the old Backup before making
a new one.

You can make a copy of your iTunes folder for a backup. That is a good idea anyway - if your computer crashed - anything on iTunes would be lost (it would still be on your iPod and you can restore from that). iTunes will not issue you any new copies of things you have downloaded.

You might look in your control panel at ' Users ' See if you have Administrator privileges ? Perhaps let us know what version of windows you have,, maybe the program name too.

I'd try deleting them in Safe Mode, it maybe because real player is running as it usually does at start up. If you boot to safe mode real player won't be running there. Try it an see. Restart the computer, hold down the F8 key during restart, wait for the Windows Advanced boot options menu to appear, select Safe Mode from the list, hit enter. Try deleting the file.

Sorry, I take mine off when it is convenient after burning them onto a CD for backup. I can't see a strong reason to keep them on board. If you have a system crash and can't access them or loose them how can they help you? This is particularly true for users like me who are still on an antique DUN whether by choice or not. DA

I have never used Restorer 2000

I have used this next one and it is completely Free
but I didn't like it. I couldn't find what I was looking for.
