We were told the American Standard Ovalyn is a very popular undermount. It comes in 3 sizes as well. We have a very small vanity and chose the medium size- you'd probably want the large. It is nice and deep which we like. I don't remember exact cost but I do recall the salesperson saying it was a good price.

I am in the slow process of a remodel right now. I chose the oval 19 x 15 Caxton in a 48" countertop. Best thing is to take a look in showrooms (with a tape measure) and see which you like the look of. The smaller sink looks skimpy to me on it's own, I wanted one nice big bowl to cut down on splashing. As a matter of fact, it's supposed to be installed today...still waiting, we'll see. Funny thing is, I actually got to see the larger sink in a countertop when I used the restroom at a home depot, and yes, I did get a strange look when the tape measure came out.

So that would be the 2211? If your countertop is 48" and mine is 56" then I would think I would also need this size.
Is your vanity the standard 21" depth? That means the sink is 15" deep which would plenty of room for the faucets and a couple of inches from the sink to the edge of the vanity.

You could go with either size, it all depends on what you like best, there is no right or wrong. I have an 18" wide linen cabinet going on the left side and then 48" of counter top. Yes, it's the 21" standard depth. I measured it and there is 3" in front of sink (of counter) and 4" from sink back to the coved backsplash. I had my sink undermounted in a corian counter top. I like the integral sinks but the white corian always looks dull and dirty to me so I wanted a china sink. Don't forget to consider your faucets if you go w/ the larger sink since there's not alot of room between the backsplash and sink edge. I got a 4" mini spread and there's plenty of room to clean around them. If you go w/ the smaller sink, I'm sure it look fine, too. I almost went w/ the Ladena which is rectangular, check that out also.

We're going with the Kohler Ladena. It comes in a few sizes. It hasn't been installed yet, so no photos to offer other than the Kohler webpage.

I used the Kohler Caxton in my bathroom. The vanity is 60" wide. I can measure the sink if you're interested - it was in stock at Lowe's. Excuse the messy wall - I was trying to decide on paint colors!

We have 2 Kohler Caxtons in our master bath vanity. We're especially pleased with them since were the only things that came in UNDER estimate.

The length is not really a concern but the width is.
Our vanity is the standard 21" depth. My DH concern is having enough space for the faucets and at least 2" in front. I love the ladena and the picture shows the spacing I would like to have, but the $$$$ is up there and as Susan said, EVERYTHING has pretty much come in over budget, since this is just the guest upstairs bathroom, (I still call it the kids bathroom) the caxton makes more sense price wise. We are putting this in Carrara marble.
And I bought my faucets soooo long ago, I forget if they are 4" or 8" spread. Not sure if that would make a difference. And since you told me there is 3" infront of your sink, that is reassuring. I don't want the sink to look too small in the 56" vanity. Thanks everyone, Susan

I can't find the sink number of the Caxton, but it's 14" deep by 17" wide. The counter is 22". Hope that helps.

That's the size of ours also...in our master bath vanity, with Leland widespread (8 in) faucets. Good luck!

I think that would be the caxton 2210. I talked to my KD and she told me that this sink is the most popular sink sold for bathrooms.
I am a research nut, and believe it or not, Lowe's has the best price at $78.00. They beat the internet and ebay give or take a dollar or two.
