You need to add something to get OE6 to spell check. Word would do it you had it but there are free ones around. Here's a link to one: Spell check at major geeks.

ok then what you need to do is check your version of IE I assume since you are using windows 7 you have IE8. IF so here are some options for you. I have used iespell for years. ieSpell - A Spell Checker for Internet Explorer or you could add IE7Pro addon to your IE even if it is IE8 which will offer you some very nice tools including a spell checker. IE7Pro from what I have found it definitely works on IE8 and several have said it works on windows 7 too.
