I've been going on here about our foray into routers, laptops, and network cards. Now with a little time off, we were able to bring it together.
My wife had never done anything on the inside of a computer before, and I had only done a memory installation and a dailup modem, but she was up for trying it herself. It took me a minute or two to figure out how to get the case open, and then I pointed out the slot for the card, and she was off and running. Half an hour or so later and we got that reassurring little box saying we were connected- and so another wire bites the dust!
I have to give Netgear credit for a straightforward, easy to follow procedure. DW is going to be our designated techy from here on out!
