Building a Home

Can someone please help me find this blog

Hello! We are still a couple of years away from building and I have been reading all that I can here. I read a blog a while back that I am pretty sure I found here. It was a couple building in the Texas Hill Country, most likely a European style home (as that is what I am interested in). They had taken several trips to Europe and came home inspired to build. They also had a shop/garage/apt. that they lived in while building their home. I was trying to find pictures so that I could show my DH the apartment and can't locate the blog!

BTW, I have seen just a couple of pictures of your home and it is just beautiful. I do a lot of searches for 'stucco' 'old world' 'european' etc. and see the posts about your home. And then, I see the dreaded message that the pictures are no longer linked. I would love to see more; but I understand you not wanting them posted for the whole world to see!

I have seen ones very similar at the Ethan Allen, you would have to do custom to get the right fabric... ohh or maybe it was at the Basset place.. but it was in the last 3 months so it would have to be one of the two places.. they were very nice.. and about 900ish each as I remember. Maddiemom

Well just saying, not criticizing OP at all, hosing it down is one step farther than I would go. Washing it in a washing machine, never. Pet messes can be cleaned fairly effectively without going that far and a person with experience with rugs knows you don't stick one in a washing machine unless you know for a fact it's ok or you don't care if it gets accidentally ruined. Now OP knows that too. But that's not the point. The point is, if you destroy something that belongs to someone else at the very least you apologize. If you want to be extra nice you offer to replace. Trying to replace it without them knowing is juvenile and silly. Have you never watched Full House lol?? Or any romantic comedy? Or any other sitcom for the 8-12 year old set? LOL just 'fess up, it is so not a big deal.

Pleaseeeee don’t fall for the seeds you will see on Etsy , Pinterest or eBay. Gosh my own mother who had gardened as long as I’ve been alive ordered the rainbow rose seeds and I couldn’t believe it . I found the rose on help me find listed as possibly available in Texas . You would have to call the nursery and see if they could ship it to you ?! Good luck ! If no help there , maybe we can help find an acceptable rose that looks similar for you . :)

Canadian goldenrod is highly aggressive, so just ask anyone (in a horticultural society, for example) to pull clumps out for you, and I am sure they will easily oblige.
