right you can only have one antivirus program on the pc at one time, you can have multiples of the malware programs that you run the scans manually with they are not running all the time so would not conflict. here are my instructions (I now just keep them in a document) McAfee removal directions these are the full directions for Mcafee removal, I used this exact procedure and it went well and have since shared it with others for their removal. be sure you use the mcafee removal tool after you have removed it from add remove programs or much will be left behind. First turn off Mcafee at the icon in the systray. I had to go into msconfig and turn off all mcafee items from startup prior to trying to uninstall, just turning them off did not work it would say the program was still running. So if you run into this when going to add remove programs try doing that. I then removed everything using add remove programs, leaving Security center till last. Then used the removal tool, after that I went to Program Files and deleted all mcafee files. Also set Windows explorer to show all hidden files and folders and deleted the mcafee folders. I found these instructions on how to do this on the mcafee forums. 1. Uninstall all mcafee programs through "Add or Remove Programs" in Windows "Control Panel". 2. Use the MCPR tool, see this article: How to remove supported mcafee consumer products using the mcafee Consumer Products removal tool (MCPR.exe). This will remove all mcafee remnants from your computer. (you must have Windows Vista, XP or 2000 SP4 to use this tool) 3. Unfortunately my sudden refusal to shutdown, seems to be quite regular. I click "Turn Off From the Start Menu" We get to the windows is now (closing)shutting down screen, the jingle plays...and we are not on nor off. Its Microsoft limbo hell. Mouse control has shut down. Can I delete .Net Framework 2.2 without hell to pay? My gut feeling is my problems are stemming from .net or the Merc board. The Merc board once shut down my Morrowind game and cancelled the tilde key assignment. Even Bethesda Softworks said there was nothing I could do. Ideazon support told me to upgrade my all keyboard drivers to hid, and that (unknowingly) knocked out the PS2 keyboard drivers used by the laser mouse assignments...it wasn't until I redownloaded the laser mouse drivers, did everything start to work. I can now cheat on my game to my hearts' content. (The tilde key brings up a game console where dirty little cheaters, like me, can enter codes to cheat.) poolgenius, What are you talking about 2" suction line being undersized on a 2hp pump. I think you need to go back and learn hydraulics again. 1hp. You need to rethink this as well. What size filter does he have first off. What size is the pool? How far is the run from your equipment to your pool. These things all contribute to the size of filter and pump that you use. Please before you go and change all your equipment as suggested lets find out what the problem is. I am sure all equipment worked fine before they were moved. As far as the stand pipe o-ring I recommend replacing this as well I usually replace them every time I disassemble a de filter maybe I am over cautious but it works for me. I think someone suggested taking a look at the spyder gasket another good idea. And while you have the filter apart take a look at the manifold on the filter as well These can get cracked easily by overtightening and sometimes by just shear age. If this has happened you normally get de returning to the pool though not the skimmer. But again I would start off looking at the obvious before I would make any drastic changes. Good luck, David
