What operating system are you using? If your missing that "About" feature, seems like something is wrong, open and close windows media player, reboot the computer, see if you can get that feature back. Windows Media Player 12 comes as part of Windows 7. "In Step 4, you have choice to choose selected file type to play as default with Windows Media Player. You need to click on "Choose defaults for this program" and then select file types that you want to associate with Windows Media Player." See link below,for more on above. Burn them as data. Setting it to "convert" means it's going to take the existing MP3's and convert them to regular CD format on the burn -- which means they'll take up a ton more room on the CD. They don't need conversion. They're already MP3's. Just burn 'em. Didn't you say your car player will play MP3 files? Have I misunderstood you?

Tried the START>PROGRAMS> thing and WMP10 came right up. Maybe it's working correctly and I just don't know it. I was sent what I think is called a streaming video and when I tried to play at first even when manually opening WMP10, it wouldn't play. Not sure what I did, but now if I open it manually it plays. I was under the impression that it would open automatically. Should it? Then again, do I really need or want WMP11. Thanks for any help you can give me.
