Everything will be fine & I also am sending positive vibes & prayers. Little tykes don't have the established sense of pain as us older wimps. Seriously, they don't. We sometimes teach our kids to be freaky about pain, inadvertently, every time we run to them saying, "Oh, you've got a boo-boo! Here, let me make it all better!"

As a teenager, I volunteered for a time as a candy-stripper. It was amazing how the little kids handled being sick & having surgeries. I learned a lot from those toddlers.

Hope everything's over & little Tristin is back in his Mom's arms.

He is fine. He is home now, and has been sleeping in his Mommy's arms for the last 5 hours. He has had a very, very rough life so far, and hopefully he is now on the mend and things will go better for him. He is just the most beautiful, sweet, cuddly little man imaginable.
Can you tell I kind of like him??

Oh he is doing well. He won't climb onto the couch cause it hurts his little tummy, and he is not moving as fast, but he is sweet, and happy and cheerful. I am going to go look for a recent picture. Hope I have one. (I am not a big picture taker, but his Mommy sometimes downloads pix onto my computer).

AW Sherry! I'm so glad everything went so well and he's home now. I'm sorry I didnt even see this thread until now but will send my prayers for a quick and full recovery!

I love happy news! I'm glad to hear he is bouncing back in a hurry.

My son came back from the OR standing in the hospital crib after testicular torsion surgery at 18 months. Sturdy little rascals!

I am so glad to read that he is home and doing ok. Kids are a little miracle, how they bounce back. Just wait until Tuesday, he will be into everything again.

I hope little Tristan is still continuing to improve as quickly as possible. Of course you are a wonderful grandma, and he and his parents are very lucky to have you. Susan! I haven't heard from you in ages! Thank you everybody. He had kind of a rough day yesterday, and he was pretty crabby and whiny. I guess that is to be expected though. He is probably still a little ouchy. We kept his older sister for that last 4 days. I think I have convinced her that she has to play gently with him and cannot get rough. (She is kind of hyper and gets carried away). I am sure he will be fine and am glad to finally have that business over with.
Now good luck to all the others here who have medical issues. I will be thinking of all of you.

Tristin has cried all day and is running a fever. Please God don't let it be the doctors screwed something up. I hope it is just a cold or something. I will let you all know as soon as I find anything out.

I bet he'll be fine. I'll keep him in my prayers, though.

Oh, no! I missed this. I am glad he had the surgery but worried now! How is he feeling? Sending hugs, Sherry! It is stressful seeing a little guy go through that. Everyone tells me they don't remember...if that is any help! I am hoping the pain is behind him.

I have tried to call my son, and I don't get an answer at the house, so I have no idea what is going on. He doesn't have my work number, so he probably called the house, and if Roger is out fishing, I won't know about him until I get home from work. this is killing me. I hope he does not have an infection in his surgery area.

Well, I finally got through to my DIL last night. She said that they called the doctor about the fever and he said to wait and see if it continued and then call him back if it did. She said that it gets high, they give tylenol, then it goes down, then repeats the cycle. I told her if it keeps coming back there is an infection somewhere, and it could be because of the operation or just a cold or something. She said that Tristin was pretty quiet and lethargic yesterday after spending the day before that just crying. I told her to monitor that temp and not to be shy about calling the doctor back. If it continues today, to CALL HIM BACK. We will see how it goes today.

I'm so sorry to hear he's not feeling chipper. I agree with you that he should be seen. Just as an aside, DD gives Jayden alternating doses of tylenol and motrin every 3 hours for fevers as per her pediatrician's instructions. It seems to keep his fever under control.

Sherry, what a worry. I hope all is well. Poor little guy..

Sherry, I was hoping that Tristin was feeling better. I hope the fever is down today and that Tristin is a little more himself. If not I'd be taking him to the doctor just to be on the safe side.
