Thunderbird Email error

I use thunderbird email. Recently the computer came up with a message about fixing a problem to rename Program to Program1. So I did this. Now I'm getting Microsoft errors when downloading email. After every message that's downloaded I get the message error in Program. Then I hit don't send and nothing happens to computer, but each time a new message comes in that same error pops up. And my mail is coming in extremely slow.

Do you know where this 'Program1' is located on your computer? If so close Thunderbird, open Windows Explorer, drill down to the offending folder. right click on it, click rename in the drop down menu and rename it Program. See if that fixes your problem.

DA... thanks. That works at least for one test. So dose Control +/- on the active text. Strange that "Compose" doesn't affect font size while Display does. Seem either or both could be the needed function - but when composing it is Display that determines the font size. I'll Google for the pain size. Sorry to put you to that extra work/test but when I can't figure out some computer question my first thought is gardenweb/computer... not Google/Web.

You export them from the computer they are on now and import the in Thunderbird on your home computer. To export or import in Thunderbird you open the address book, click on tools then export or import. Thunderbird will use .ldif, comma separated or tab delimited files.
