Fellas, I forgot to mention, now that I am back and clear thinking somewhat, that I had uninstalled a program that had a lavendar? feather icon in the tray, was for taking pdf files apart. Recommended here in the forum, decided I didn't really need it, so uninstalled, and right after that, this box started showing up. As of now, my icon for AVG does not have an arrow, as suggested in the discussion group at the site Joe sent me to, so am scratching my head now, won'dering what to do, and shakey at that. Is this something I could live with if I had to, or should I worry it will make more trouble for me at this time? Have not had any trouble with AVG, and have been clean that I know of, no CC here anymore, have trimmed down all excess programs I can to make this older machine run what I thought was better. When he goes shopping, DH always asks for "paper in plastic". The brown paper bag goes inside with the plastic outside so the handles can be used. Very sturdy, gets everything out to the car safely. We've never had to pay for these bags, and we do recycle them. The plastic ones line our wastebaskets. And the brown ones are good for when I scoop the cat box and for newspapers. I realize the stores do buy these bags, but I figure they give them to customers as "good will". I remember one Sunday, I had walked to a card store for a Sunday Newspaper and it was snowing. I ducked in a nearby grocery and took a free plastic bag to keep my paper dry. See, Good Will? By the way, I think it's awful when anyone is nasty to another person. We all should just be kind to each other.
