Hello

Is there anyway you can keep and save videos?

Is there a program you can download and save videos? videos from u tube, or quilting sites. To save to watch over and over if needed. Some videos are on a few times then gone for good. Thank you B.

For youtube videos:

When playing a youtube video, you will see the url in the address bar that looks like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NEY4LxORCeo&feature=rec-fresh+div-f-8-HM

Now, just put abc in the url, in front of youtube .. like this: http://www.abcyoutube.com/watch?v=NEY4LxORCeo&feature=rec-fresh+div-f-8-HM

Now hit your enter button and that will take you to a page where you can download the video in almost any format, such as MP3, MP4,FLV, AVI etc. etc.

If you'll click on my link, it will take you to the site that I am talking about.

Randomly, I chose an old Roy Clark video on youtube and put the abc in the url and my link is where it took me after I hit ENTER.

The insertion of abc seems the easiest.

I found the free YOUTUBE DOWNLOADER with a google search and like it.

Depending on the age, brand and type of each piece of equipment, what is needed could be a some combination of several different and available plugs/cables/adapters. Without knowing and seeing what you're trying to connect, there's no way to answer your question. To my knowledge, the only "connection type" involving PCs that carries sound AND video is HDMI. Otherwise, you're looking at two connections, one for video and one for audio. What's used for audio out from a PC is usually the headphone jack, using a mini (3.5 mm) plug. The other end could be another mini plug, or RCA plugs, depending on the type of input sockets available on what it's connecting to. What kind of amplifier or sound system do you intend to connect to? Is the projector part of a TV system (and so it has sound too) or are you connecting the sound to something separate?

if you use firefox there are some good addons you can use to do this, just check the addons list at the firefox site. this is one example

similar to the other one mentioned you can use the kickyoutube option
KickYouTube is a free web based application that makes downloading YouTube videos a breeze. If you can type the word "kick" then you can download videos in a few steps.

1. Load the page for the YouTube video you want in your browser.

2. Add the word "kick" between the www. and the youtube.com section of the URL and hit enter.
so that it would say kickyoutube.com do not use the quotation marks. Here is a video showing how

keepvid is yet another option just type or paste the url in the blank

you can add the keepvid to your links toolbar and when watching a video you want to download you just click the keep it button on the keepvid bar.

and this might come in handy for any converting needs etc
