Video review of your-roses.com order

I wanted to share my experience with the Chinese rose vendor your-roses, as I couldn’t find any reviews before ordering. I know importing roses can be a controversial choice, but if I could have found Royal Jubilee anywhere in the U.S., I would have. This rose holds deep sentimental value for me, and I made the decision with that in mind. I understand and respect that not everyone agrees with importing, but I wanted to share my experience for those considering it.

They have every unicorn and holy grail rose imaginable, and the temptation was so strong.

I first contacted them at the end of January, but because of the Chinese New Year, they had paused shipping. I reached out again in mid-February and attempted to place an order. Since there were no reviews anywhere, I used my strongest credit card (the one I knew would refund me if needed) and took a chance.

I purchased 10 roses, and they included 8 free—one more than their usual buy 10, get 7 Lunar New Year special. For larger orders, they offer buy 15, get 12 and buy 20, get 18, while smaller orders follow a buy 2, get 1 or buy 5, get 3 format. They allow you to pick your free roses, with no exclusions, though they did ask me to pay for the 10 most expensive ones while they covered the 8 cheaper ones.

The downside? They only ship on Sundays, so every time there was a delay, my shipment was pushed back a full week. It was a bit stressful, but to make up for it, they sent me a Princess Pinku as an extra gift. Another issue was that a few of the roses had some mold on the stems. They were wrapped tightly in cling film to retain moisture, but I think that backfired. I show the mold in the video, and while it wasn’t ideal, I was able to cut all of it off and will be treating the plants. I think they’ll be fine, but it’s something to be aware of.

Once they finally shipped, the roses went from Shanghai to Arizona in just two days!

Would I order again? Absolutely—but I’d try to lock down a firm shipping date upfront to set better expectations.

I did film an unboxing video if anyone wants to see the roses. It’s not my best work—I was filming one-handed while handling thorny roses, all while a pug was trying to climb into my lap. Apologies for the little snorts in the background! I still need to do a tour of the rest of the roses for Kitty, and the two missing name tags were for Kong Meng (purple) and Leonora (white)—so once they bloom, they’ll be easy to tell apart.

Hope this helps anyone considering an order! Let me know if you have questions
