it does nothing to change the operating system, all it is is an additional browser does not change Internet explorer or remove it nor affect anything about it. And it is highly advised to always have at a minimum of 2 browsers on any computer because they do fail and if you only have one and it fails you have no access to get online so having firefox as an added browser is actually beneficial in that aspect also. but as I said in my post the fireshot add on is now available for Internet explorer too can be added on to it.

There are a lot of ifs, ands and buts to all this. I knew within a few minutes that I was not impressed with this young man. Instead of addressing the immediate problem he started making some changes in the way I had my PC set up, explaining that you can do this and this and this, as I am saying, yes I know and I don't want it that way, etc. It would take too long to try to explain this whole thing, but after not being able to fix the problem he said he could do a ? (don't remember what he said,) but it would cost $135. I didn't respond to that. I will mention that the next morning I called the bank and put a stop payment on the check. I emailed him and told him that and that I needed time to decide what to do next. I got an email back and he more or less suggested the problem was that I wouldn't let him fix it because of the expense, and he did spend a lot of time, etc, etc. I called the bank, had the Stop payment removed, emailed him and told him so, and wished him well. I just didn't want to deal with him any more. So then I started searching around HP Support and found a great online help site and was able to do the D/L for V7. Ravencajun, I had read and tried your suggestions in the original thread but ran into a problem and backed out. Sometimes that is just what you have to do. Mikie, I have tried the 200% and it makes the pic a little larger, but not as large as it had been. Have you been able to get on when they were doing a drive? They have been having problems with the cams recently. I would still like for someone who has V6 to try a screen shot and see if they get a large pic. Sue, I've never bought warranties on anything. Most everything comes with a year's guarantee, and most problems happen in the first year. At least that is my reasoning. lol. This problem would not have been covered, because I caused it; it wasn't a HP problem. Oh, well, it is over now and I learned again, when all else fails, read the directions. There is a wealth of help in the HP Support site that I had never even looked at before. Oh, by the way, the charge was $10 for a house call and $50 for the time. My thinking was if the young man feels he earned his money, so be it. If he didn't earn it, it is on his conscience, not mine. This rambled I know. When you have the box on your screen, click on the 'print screen' button (it should be to the right of your F12 key). This copies your screen shot. Open Microsoft Word or other word processing document and paste image there. Click View> toolbars > picture toolbar and select 'crop picture. From there you can reduce your screen shot to show the box only and not your screen background. Hope this is what you wanted to know.
