If Malwarebytes is clean you can be pretty sure your ok, if you got infected you most likely to see some symptoms. Run the on-line scan below to double check for Malware. Establish an internet connection & perform an online scan with Firefox or Internet Explorer from here: http://www.kaspersky.com/kos/eng/partner/default/kavwebscan.html To optimize scanning time and produce a more sensible report for review: Close any open programs Turn off the real time scanner of any existing antivirus program while performing the online scan. Click when prompted to download and install the program files and database of malware definitions. Click Run at the Security prompt. The program will then begin downloading and installing and will also update the database. Please be patient as this can take several minutes. Once the update is complete, click on My Computer under the green Scan bar to the left to start the scan. Once the scan is complete, it will display if your system has been infected. It does not provide an option to clean/disinfect. We only require a report from it. Do be alarmed by what you see in the report. Many of the finds have likely been quarantined. Click View scan report at the bottom. Click the Save Report As... button. Click the Save as Text button to save the file to your desktop. Note for Internet Explorer 7 users: If at any time you have trouble with the accept button of the licence, click on the Zoom tool located at the right bottom of the IE window and set the zoom to 75 %. Once the license accepted, reset to 100%.

you might try installing it in safe mode that way no other programs would be running and it might go through easier. But javacool has a specific forum set up in Wilders so I would suggest going to the Spywareblaster forum and posting there. Jann, I just download/installed on my Windows 98 SE test box. It installed okay but wouldn't open until I downloaded/installed the VB6SP6 Runtime files. Now it works okay. Lavasoft use to be the flagship off the fleet, but through recent years it has lagged in development and dependability. Spybot is the old veteran. It is still a great secondary application, but as Ken points out it is not recommended anymore as a first line of detection. Revo is as Ken reports. CCleaner has a application uninstall tool which I believe is nothing but a pointer to the application's uninstaller. Stick with Revo as it begins with the on-board uninstaller and then takes over for a deeper more complete uninstall. DA
