I agree with andy10917, looks like nutsedge. I've got some near my veg garden, and this fall I'm going to cook up some of the tubers: I've read that they are edible.

Yes I was sent the ditch lilys intentionally, (it was not the LA) and no I did not send them back. I did send the seller a message that I would be in her area to collect the right plants in a week or two and received a refund right away. I have gotten the wrong plants on the LA and the seller never made good on them. I was told it was a more expensive plant and that I should be happy. It was not something I would have purchased and I ended up selling it for less than a third of what I paid for it. That seller is no longer there. I have found that it is better to just locate the plant and buy it from a reliable source. I used to like the auctions but the nibblers just irratate me too much. I once put a really high bid on something and had another bidder bid $1.00 higher than my bid 18 times. If they wanted it why didn't they just bid with 1 bid $18.00 over my original bid. I have always wondered if this was someone bidding up the plant for the seller, and it happens far too much. For the record even on Ebay I will not bid on auctions (for anything), if I want something I find it with the Buy It Now option, buy and pay for it right away.

I received the following in an email just this morning. never used the site but it sure seems more trouble than there is any personal gain. Facebook "dislike" button (and other viral scams) How it works: Frequent Facebook members know the "like" button doesn't always cut it. Though users would often like to voice their disapproval, experts are warning there's no such thing as an "official dislike button." That doesn't mean you won't see prompts to download this rogue application, or posts claiming your contacts are using it. The application will access your profile and spread the scam to your friends, family and coworkers. You might even be asked to fill out a survey first -- for which the crooks earn some cash. According to experts, the dislike button is the latest in a series of viral scams that usually feature fraudulent links to shocking or funny content. How to fight it: Experts advise caution when using any social media site. Ignore suspicious sounding ads, links and invites, even if they come from friends and followers. Beware of any generic updates in your news feed that seem out of character (like "OMG I just saw the funniest video. Lol.") or sound more like ad-speak than a legitimate status update. Be cautious about giving out your information or allowing any application you're not familiar with to access your data. Fortunately, the consequences of this particular Facebook scam are more embarrassing than dangerous. If you are caught, go into your application settings and delete the application. Shannon, "I know when my DH's kids are with us,like out to dinner, or over here for a visit, he finds it very difficult because he feels like we can't really "talk" openly, we have to keep it to ourselves because he KNOWS that everything we say will go home to BM and there will be hell to pay....arrgghh!!" EXACTLY!!!! The only difference is that SD lives WITH us... it's not just a visit. ARRGGHH!!!!!! For Christmas she asked for a cell phone, camera & laptop.... common things kids today ask for. Our thoughts... oh hell no! she wants the cell phone to call her mom & keep her updated minute by minute. she wants the camera to take pictures she can upload to the laptop & email to her mom. like I said, it's the lack of trust that is going to doom her... those are things it would be nice to get for her. Sadly we can't trust her to use them responsibly or appropriately... we would expect her to try to use them against us and we've done nothing wrong. I hate feeling that way! The only problem I see in making up some good stories for her to repeat... she ALREADY makes up crap that isn't true and we don't want the phone calls or emails that eventually follow when her mom gets all worked up. We sure don't want her filing to go back to court because she thinks we are moving.. lol She spent all last summer telling us that she was going to Hawaii with her mom & grandma. When her grandma came to pick her up from the house, DH asked her if she's excited about their trip? She said there's no trip, they have no money for a trip to Hawaii and had no idea what SD was talking about. Yeah, I think SD likes to stir it up... the difference is we don't react in an angry way to whatever BM is doing. (remember BM has been planning her wedding to BF for over two years, but she's still married to older DD's father. Now, BM is supposedly pregnant and due next month. She stays on her porch during exchanges so we can't really tell if she's showing... to me she still looks the same but I guess next month we shall find out. lol) I guess I can't really blame SD for lying so much, it's been modeled to her since she was little... her mom is a pathological liar. I am just finding it impossible to have a relationship with her when the knife is still in my back from the last attack. The whole thing makes me sad but I guess the only answer is: "It's not MY problem"
