Nat, I don't mean to throw a monkey wrench into your list but I took out Ducher because I could not keep black spot off of it. Thrips loved it and so did the Japanese beetles. It was an underperformer for me, here in Atlanta. Others love it, so thatÂs just my experience. Gruss An Aachen is a great rose but he needs to be sprayed here if you want him to look good--if not, you're going to see a lot more cane. BUT, he does respond well to occasional spraying and he does bloom even when I let him get spotty. BelindaÂs Dream is also nice but does better with some spray. BTW, her blooms are much larger and more impressive in the cooler weather of the spring and fall. Of the ones youÂve listed, Marie Daly is the most disease resistant and has the most continual bloom. The fragrance also carries on the breezeÂwhich I really like. SdLM is another great rose. Mine does get some BS but with a little shot of anti-fungal spray every now and then, she does well. The blooms are beautiful and smell great. Neither SdLM or MD are very large, thoughÂboth maybe 3.5 to 4 feet tall and wide. What about Duchesse de Brabant? SheÂs on JeanÂs list that you mentioned and she made the Earthkind list in Texas. She has beautiful pink blooms that smell like raspberries to me. Mine is taller than wide but I've heard others report that their DdB are larger. I just went out and would call mine "lightly thorny". Just finished talking to my landlord. I could not have designed a solution any better than this. I will pay him Oct and Nov rent on Monday afternoon. Then in December I will be there in the house using my security deposit as rent and I will move the 1st week of January into my new place. This gives me 2 months to find a place, maybe a new job, and pack and move. Wow! I was saying to myself in the car just before I dialed the landlord's number - Jesus, I trust in you. What ever God wants. And He came through! Just like that. My new Bible study class I do on Thursday evenings is just fantastic. The Hebrew word for sin is chet which means missing the mark. Breezy- I usually try to be more tactful, but just in case I wasn't clear, here goes. I don't think the open cabinet look will go with the rest of your kitchen. I also don't like the little open shelves, as you have them on the mock up. There is too much color, compared to the rest of the space, IMHO. I do think dishes in the same or a similar color...maybe white, light blue, cream, light green...would look nice with the smaller open shelves. Davidro's idea of the narrow shelves over the cooktop sounds really good (again, IMHO) and would look great with similar colors to the smaller open shelves. If you could keep a soft, more neutral color scheme with your dishes, I think the larger shelves would work, but how realistic is that? You probably need the storage, so I would go with the two doors. And, FWIW, one of my kitties would end up on the open shelves, if I had that set up. Perhaps your kitty (and any future kitties) are much better behaved. Most of mine are...but there's this one little guy. It's a good thing he's so cute and cuddly...LOL. That is why I plan to have a plate rack and glass doors for storage. You have to know your limitations :)

toxcrusadr....sorry, by 'owner' I meant owner of the roofing company. So far, I've gotten one estimate from a reputable company and will probably go with them since they've been very professional and great in communicating with me. The tech that gave me an estimate said there is a soft spot around the chimney and he will repair that along with another area that is starting to rot. The second area is where the carport was attached to the roof incorrectly. geoffrey.....according to the tech the rest of the roof looks fine.........shingle quality is good, lines are straight, edges cut as they should be and cap done correctly. I have no doubt the tech found rot because I poked around the area before I flew home and knew there was decayed wood near the front edge of the chimney. The house is located in Miss. so there's not much worry about snow and ice but they do get their share of rain. Just have to add one last pic.....the gutter will be replaced on my next trip home. Thanks to everyone for your input! I'll try to remember to post an 'after' picture.
