White cultured marble shower

joy_unspeakable

After much soul searching, I have decided not to go with tile in my new 4'x5' custom shower. Though I think it would look beautiful for the first year or so, I know that I am not diligent enough to keep that grout clean! I'm considering cultured marble in white. Anyone used white cultured marble slabs in the shower? Pros vs. cons. Pictures?

I had also looked at TruStone, but most of the colors/designs were too busy for the color scheme I had picked out. I had planned to go with FloridaTile Paramount 'Empire' tile for the floors (light blue/gray color with a tad of beige), light colored maple cabinets, and Blue Pearl granite for the vanity. Would a marble shower be to 'mixed'? Kind of why I was leaning toward white.

Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.

By the way, I have loved looking at everyones bathroom pictures and have learned SO MUCH while lurking here for the past several months!
