I would use vein cut silver travertine instead. It's stunning with long flowing striations. It depends though how busy the marble is. If it's too much with the floor, I would do the floor in Jurastone gray or gasgione limestone (sp?). Looks gorgeous with the marble and dark vanity. I do love a dark vanity with all white marble though in different sizes and mosaics and honed mixed with polished. I would do the walls in chalk white or a soft light warm gray. The warm tones of the noche and mauve don't relate to each other or to the vanity and counter.

See the one from the Ashland line in Crystal at hakatai.com. Just add a pretty vessel sink, and pick up a paint color from the travertine and you're done with a stunning bath. Add a framed photo of a tree or flower in a sepia tone with a dark frame to match the vanity. That's exactly what I'm doing so I'm biased...LOL!

I think having different types of veining on the countertop and the floor may be too busy. I would go with something more consistent on the floor. I am thinking something similar to what we are doing, which is large format gray pocelain tile (it has some taupe flecks in it and a slightly textured surface, looks somewhat like slate). Sorry, I don't have a picture yet. You could do a warmer taupe on the walls.
