iam3killerbs Yes, solarizing soil to kill seeds is done with clear plastic, not black plastic, and the thinner the plastic, the better. One mil if you can find it. The recommendation, which you probably know, is to moisten the soil to activate the seed growth and then lay the plastic directly on top of it and secure the plastic on the sides so it touches the surface of the soil everywhere. IOW, smooth clear plastic covering the soil surface with no air-pockets will essentially cook and destroy the seeds. For it to work, the recommendation is to leave it in place for 6-8 weeks during the hottest part of summer. As for the weeds growing there now, unless you want to continually hand-pull them, in your shoes I'd put down several layers of thick cardboard in any areas where you can and then cover them with leaves or anything else that people use for mulch, even shredded paper or old carpet turned upside down. Keep the mulched area damp and the earthworms will love you for it. They flock to cardboard, and especially corrugated cardboard for the glue.

Owner End Process with the task manager only "Ends Process" during that sesssion. Upon rebooting all your processes are back ... even "End Process" ed ones. Microsoft Word does not belong in my Task Bar. It uses 55% of CPU upon start up. No wonder we were gettin' hot. How do I get it out of my Task Bar? and How did it get in there? Owner 'End Process' es are fairly benign and most gamers turn them of except the task bar itself and IE while playing, its even on the directions of most PC games...for enhancesd performance... etc. The entire word program is running!!...55% of a 3.2GHz CPU (certainly isn't the fastest) at startup is going to word without me turning it on, that is ridiculous! marf

I already tried what you said with no luck. I googled it & found the fix. I went to support microsoft fix it & downloaded the fix it thing to reset the tool bar to default location & it worked. Thanks for the help though, you all are always so fast & helpful here. Terri

sorry I am late getting here but see you got your answer so that is good. Yes you really do need to put ad block plus and the easy list on your firefox since you already use firefox. Just go here to the ad block plus and click add to firefox you will then have to shut down firefox and restart then go here and under easylist click where it says add to adblock plus to add the easylist subscription then it is a good idea to restart firefox one more time. Adblock Plus 1.3.3 then this EasyList
