Not enough HDD to Defrag

Wow, with over 10 GBytes free on a 60 GByte HDD Windows XP SP2 Home tells me there is not sufficient HDD space to do an efficient job of defrag. Tells me to check for ways to delete files on the HDD.

Looking at the top level: C/~ERAFSWD.TMP (what is that about?) I find it has consumed 39 GBytes. This seems to be the "pig" causing the problem, and I suspect it must be virus related (I've noted the notebook has been increasingly sluggish too).

Before I erase this pig folder I will search on the web, and ask here if there's any knowledge about this folder.
