Dale, Thanks for the above article. I have seen it before. Just about everything in the aritcle pertains to citrus trees that are planted more or less tight in a commerical grove. As the article said, "The tighter the spacing (between the trees) the decison to prune is more important as the trees are crowded". It also stated, "The wider the spacing, the less the need to prune." First let me state that during the first years, there is no need to prune at all, since research has shown that any cut to a young tree reducse root grooth. This is due to the equilibrium between foliage and root system. A tree is a biological unit. Cuts on a young tree, discourages canopy growth and delays the tree from coming into bearing. For mature dooryard, or containerized citrus trees, there is very little reason to ever prune except for....(1)when the same space within the canopy is covered by more than one branch, it is not good or convenient to let surplus branches occupy the same aerial space. Even suckers should be kept if they occupy free spaces. After a few years they bear fruit. (2) All INTERIOR suckers must be cut. Vegtation free canopy spaces must be avoided since they reuce yield (3)After many years as the tree becomes aged crops become reduced and fruits become smaller. there are many really good useful screen capture free programs out there, bobs link to those at gizmo provides several of the top choices. Many have the editing stuff all built in to them. On my linux I have one called ksnapshot which is so easy to use wish they had just that item for windows. On windows I have used a few including the gadwin program and I have used this one Screenpresso logo and the picpick one mentioned at the gizmo site. I had no idea the pdf select tool would not work on some items. That is strange. on the ones y'all tried it on had you actually saved the pdf file to your pc or were you viewing the pdf file from the online site? just wondering if that would make any difference. I have never encountered that problem.

Okay, my whole to-do list is now on Workflowy. It could not be easier to use. I like it a lot. I had my kids d/l it too. I am a big fan. I was happy that it was relatively painless to cut and paste it from my docx file. I ended up upgrading to Workflowy pro, which will automatically backup my list to a drop bpx, enable me to edit offline, and also gave me additional fonts and themes for the look of the app. Pricey, though, at $49/yr. On that last point, I think they could really improve the looks. Even with Workflowy Pro's extra choices, the look is very spartan. And the themes were designed by a 13yo boy I think. It sounds minor, but it isn't. It will be something I look at every day. How tough is it to allow different background colors and fonts? Two other comments. One, Any. Do has voice recognition. That is very handy; they should add it. Two, I think items on the list that have due dates associated with them could be handled differently. Right now you can tag them with a hash tag, but I think you they should make it easier to associate and item with a due date, perhaps using a drop down calendar. Thank you, Marina Gal!

The vivienne files has a lovely aqua and black capsule wardrobe, Maire cate! I am decidedly not a size zero, so you may well be Impressed at the number of garments in the bag :-) I am not a roller, I tried that method once or twice and it was a hot mess to get things out--- any time you want an item you have to completely unpack and repack. If I am staying in a hotel longer than one night I unpack almost completely, hanging everything and putting other things in drawers. But I usually use the packing cube thingies from Eagle Creek and ebags. I will use a medium or large zippered packing bag for all my slacks, another for all the tops, a small cylindrical one for undies and socks, another for scarves, etc. that way when I want a shirt I can just take that cube out and not disturb everything else. I put these cubes in drawers as is unless something would benefit for being hung up. Alternatively, if we are going on a trip requiring a lot of dressing up, I will pack complete outfits individually in those space bag thingies. That way I have not only the clothes, but the stockings, shoes, jewelry, any special underwear, etc. in one package. Those are the bags you ziplock and then roll it up to,squeeze all the air out, then unroll it to lie very flat. It's amazing how unwrinkled clothes are when packed in those space bags!
