Okay, my whole to-do list is now on Workflowy. It could not be easier to use. I like it a lot. I had my kids d/l it too. I am a big fan. I was happy that it was relatively painless to cut and paste it from my docx file. I ended up upgrading to Workflowy pro, which will automatically backup my list to a drop bpx, enable me to edit offline, and also gave me additional fonts and themes for the look of the app. Pricey, though, at $49/yr. On that last point, I think they could really improve the looks. Even with Workflowy Pro's extra choices, the look is very spartan. And the themes were designed by a 13yo boy I think. It sounds minor, but it isn't. It will be something I look at every day. How tough is it to allow different background colors and fonts? Two other comments. One, Any. Do has voice recognition. That is very handy; they should add it. Two, I think items on the list that have due dates associated with them could be handled differently. Right now you can tag them with a hash tag, but I think you they should make it easier to associate and item with a due date, perhaps using a drop down calendar. Thank you, Marina Gal!

The vivienne files has a lovely aqua and black capsule wardrobe, Maire cate! I am decidedly not a size zero, so you may well be Impressed at the number of garments in the bag :-) I am not a roller, I tried that method once or twice and it was a hot mess to get things out--- any time you want an item you have to completely unpack and repack. If I am staying in a hotel longer than one night I unpack almost completely, hanging everything and putting other things in drawers. But I usually use the packing cube thingies from Eagle Creek and ebags. I will use a medium or large zippered packing bag for all my slacks, another for all the tops, a small cylindrical one for undies and socks, another for scarves, etc. that way when I want a shirt I can just take that cube out and not disturb everything else. I put these cubes in drawers as is unless something would benefit for being hung up. Alternatively, if we are going on a trip requiring a lot of dressing up, I will pack complete outfits individually in those space bag thingies. That way I have not only the clothes, but the stockings, shoes, jewelry, any special underwear, etc. in one package. Those are the bags you ziplock and then roll it up to,squeeze all the air out, then unroll it to lie very flat. It's amazing how unwrinkled clothes are when packed in those space bags!

My suggestion, unless it gives you some really screwed up cuts in the kitchen would be to center the tile on both hallways, and whatever happens in the angled area, happens. As for cutting the odd angles, it's just as easy as cutting in square laid tiles. Before you start, lay 3 tiles in an "L", with the exact grout joint you intend to use. Now take a measurement, starting with 1" on the point of the bottom right corner of the piece at the top of the "L", down to the bottom right corner of the piece at the "leg" of the "L". Subtract that inch, and there's your diagonal coursing measurement (you start on an inch, because you want an exact measurement, and the end of the tape won't be exact enough) Now that you have your coursing measurement, add 1/8" to it, and that's your cutting measurement. Now, in order to measure the cut, you want to place it exactly where the first full tile in back of the cut will be. Once the tile is in place, mark your coursing measurement on one side, and then the other, and cut. It'll fit exactly, no matter what the angle. Matter of fact, I think you've just inspired me to add another "how to" pictorial series to my website. :-) I'll see about taking the pictures tomorrow or wednesday. :-)

I just checked to see if springpad was available for all platforms and it is! I use it all the time I have it on my phone, tablets and pc all synced together. It is so easy to save something I might want to look at later or make a note about something. Check it out I bet you can find a use for it too. Super easy to use. Springpad I have used Imageshack for years and years for storing my pics online and using the codes to post them to forums etc. they make apps for apple and android which are great you can send your pics right from your phone or tablet etc to your imageshack account and lots more. I use it all the time. these are some of them check there may be more. Of course you would need an imageshack account which is free, I have had mine for years and have never had problems with it like I have with photobucket! SkyPath by Imageshack Corp that is for apple ImageshackDroid android version Skypath For Android another android option with skypath I have been using the imageshackdroid one but I will try the skypath one now to see which I like better.
