Invalid active x control

When running Norton Win Dr. I keep getting the 9 invalid active x controls message. I repair and they are there again next time I run it. XP home, Norton System works.

Tell me everything you know about this. Tnx. Grady

It just means that there are 9 invalid active x control paths in your registry that point to nowhere. Probably next time you use Internet Explorer they are added again since IE uses Active X.
No big deal, any registry cleaner will find invalid active x paths everytime you clean the registry.

It's the whole problem with Using internet explore, it gives the browser complete control. Some sites & scanners require it to run programs. Not all Active X is bad, The stuff you see is probably nothing to worry about on your computer.

Have you tried changing your Internet Explorer settings to accept the Active X control? Tools, Internet Options, Security, Custom Level... If you're using another browser check to see if there's a way to accept that particular Active X control. Rita

I have Vista Home premium edition (64) bit. I use, Malwarebytes, superspyware, spyware blaster and Avast. The game is Jewel Quest from IWin game site. The game is jerky in it's movements and because they recommend the plug in and I can't download it,I am assuming that maybe the problem. I have uninstalled jewel quest and re-installed once, didn't help.
