E-mail problem

I have switched to ThunderBird mail & now that it checks spelling I really like it.

I have ran into a new problem.. My G/daughter has been sending me ultrasound scans of the twins she is carrying & on a few I get this message..

I don't know what to do & or where to do it so I can receive

the scans.I don't want to put my computer at risk though. I am getting a lot of my picture from other places not showing but there is a button to click to show them.. There is no button on these pixs.

I use thunderbird I don't see much for attachments, in thunderbird I clicked tools, options then attachments didn't see much to configure.

Sounds like your Anti Virus E-Mail scanner is blocking attachment.

Are you using Norton Security Suite by chance for your anti virus?

I use Hotmail (free) and often when I get emails from an AOL email addy, they won't open for me. Not sure why. They aren't anything like wonderful pics being shared, but rather things from the net that have been forwarded and forwarded, and forwarded...all with the names and addresses.

What are the email programs involved? Are you maybe able to see the pics at the actual on line email site before or after they are downloaded to Thunderbird? Have you narrowed it down to it being Thunderbird for sure?

I use Yahoo mail, and all my mail from GW ended up in the inbox except the first ones from CindeeA and Laura1. Those two ended up in my bulk folder. The ones they sent after that came to my inbox. I'm pretty sure that I have gotten every message sent because no one has told me I have mail that isn't there. I sent Kat an email that she didn't get, but she sent me one just fine. I guess that's why it's good to give folks a heads up that they have mail coming. That way we know if it is working or not. Also because I can be a bit absent minded I save all my emails to a text file until I know it was recieved. That way if I have to retype it I don't forget what I wrote in the first place =) Tim

I use Comcast as my ISP and they have blocked people that I email with a lot as spammers. They blocked my boss, his secretary, one of the companies I represent (I am a sales rep) and several of my personal friends. They all had to fill out a form and say they weren't spammers. One of my personal friends has never been able to get unblocked despite filling out the form several times, I've filled it out for her so I know it was right and I also called and emailed Comcast but they insisted her domain sent spam. It was a tiny local ISP in Texas, I doubt it.... Anyway, it can be very frustrating. I get real spam all the time but messages I need can be blocked. They don't go to my spam folder for me to click this is not spam, they just get bounced back with a very similar notice to the one the OP posted.

are you using the print email button on your actual email program? Mine will not print properly unless I use the actual button built into the email program. which email program are you using? for example on my hotmail at the top row where it says NEW, Delete, Junk etc there is a small printer icon that is how I have to print the individual emails by using that icon.
