Problem with Internet printing

When I print from the Internet, either from Gmail or other sites, like HP tech support, the frame around the text prints, but no text. The pictures that were a part of the text will print, though. I'm using a 3 week old HP Pavilion AMD 64x2 Dual Core processor 4200+, 991 Hz 960MB of RAM.

Windows XP ver 2002, service pack 2.

As I said, I clck on the text I want to copy, use either of the print Icons and take a look at Preview, and there will be the title and the frame displayed around the text. It prints just as described.

I looked for a solution on HP's tech support site but couldn't print that text either.

A call to the Tech Support in India got an offer to invest $69.00 in a different site that answers that kind of question. I thought it would be nice to answer a question of a new owner who, at that time, had had his HP for three days.

I did a search on this topic, and found one thread with almost the exact problem, but there was never a solution offered in the past year.
