Cleaning range hood: Baffle or Vent-a-hood

Which style is harder to clean? I'm ruling the screen/mesh styles because I find them too loud. VAH hoods seem quieter than the baffle style but I'm concerned about cleaning. Then again, when is cleaning grease and oil ever easy...

For the baffle styles, would I need to clean anything else other than the baffles and drip area? The ones I've seen, the baffles and drip area are easily removable and can be washed in a dishwasher. They're stainless steel, have relatively few or no moving parts. Where as, the VAH squirrel cage and what not are seemingly harder to remove, clean and other areas in the hood get dirty besides just fan and housing.

We do a fair bit (2-3 times a week) of high-temp stir-fry and other asian dishes.
