Fred had the catscan appt at 8:30 this morning, Jason (DS) wanted to take him and me stay home with my Dad. While waiting on his Dad, Jas decided to take things into his own hands (most of you know Jason's story, over 50 surgeries due to severity of his burns. his website link on my page) Fred was going to try to get in to see my Dad's heart doctor. But Jason called his incredible burn doc, who's remained a good friend to him these last 6 years, and told him about his dad's aneurysm. Dr Foster said while a "7" was large, it wasn't huge, and wasn't going to just burst any time really soon and to not panic over it. And then he told Jas that HE'D take care of getting Fred an appt with a top heart specialist.

So Fred gets done with catscan, comes home and has breakfast and runs errands, then he and Jas go play golf rest of afternoon!!!! While on the golf course, Jason gets a call from Dr Foster. Fred has an appt at 6:30 am....jeeez....Wed morning at the famous Az Heart Institute with the "man himself", Dr Dietrich. WOW.

So today was a very good day, and stress has dropped quite a few notches for me!

Plus Dad isn't using wheelchair at all now, just the walker. He's able to put more weight on his leg and almost back to normal. Tho with his extreme frailty, I pray he will continue to use the walker and not risk falling in the house again!!!!
