integrated panel-ready DW advice?
Comments (26)We have this Miele Optima dishwasher: http://www.miele.com/usa/dishwashers/product.asp?cat=2&model=505&series=120&nav=20&snav=70&tnav=73&oT=125 It is very quiet. It has the built-in water softener, which I know you don't need, but you can turn it off from what I understand (we use ours). May seem like a waste for you, but it is still well within your budget. It holds quite a bit. The bottom racks can be modified so you can play around with the configuration to find what best suits your dishes. We had an old Maytag before this one and I think it did hold slightly more, but not much. I really like the cutlery tray (it really only takes a second to put the silverware in there) and I would buy this dishwasher again in a second. The dishes really do turn out beautifully. Oh, and it is fully integrated. Looks perfectly flush with our inset cabinets. Good luck!...See MoreVanity top with integrated sinks- what are my options?
Comments (3)We have a integrated counter and sink in our master bath made by a company called Ronbow. It looks like plain porcelain, not marble. (We wanted something plain since we have marble hex on the floor.) We picked it to be economical. But in fact it has turned out to be one of our best choices. It is so easy to keep clean. And I enjoy never worrying about it....See MoreReplacing a bathroom vanity sink/countertop-need advice
Comments (2)As a rule, BB cabinets and counter tops are separate, but sold as a unit. The usual procedure is to adhere the counter top to the cabinet with silicon. That means simply running a knife between the joint should cut the sealer on the open sides/front of the cabinet. Then pull/pry the counter top free....See MoreIntegrated sink vanity top
Comments (4)I saw a company at a home show that sprays a coating over sinks, showers, etc. I am considering using it for my tub/shower. This is the place I saw, but I bet there are other companies that do the same thing: http://www.myrtlebeachhomeresurfacing.com/ There are DIY products you can buy, but personally, unless it was something I would have no problem replacing it things went wrong, I'd rather spend the extra and let a pro do it....See Moredoofus
