Barb...both happy and sad....Happy he is moving forward with his life. Knowing he will go far as long as he stays focused on his studies, and learns to quit being so wasteful. Sad because he is moving on and we will be seeing very little of him in the next 4 years or so. We havent made any new life adventures yet. House needs some TLC. I suppose first we will get used to having a home with just us and the critters and go from there. Chell I used to be a dog and cat groomer. I loved it too. But my employer was a deedeedee. Never had the money to pay me each week and always "owed" me. And she never gave me my tips either.Then at the end of the year she reported more earnings for me than what I had really made.Fortunitly I kept records and proved my case and won, so make sure you don't let the same happen to you. I have kept my clippers, blades and accessories and still will do a neighbors dog or two once in awhile to keep my skills up.....but don't miss the hair stuck in places I did'nt know existed....lol. Fitz & Floyd discontinued china from the 80s that is now absolutely my color: Cinnabar. I'm just rebuilding, so most of my Ah ha! moments are distant memories. I have decided, though, since I can't reach my upper shelves, that I won't put anything on them. I have decluttered to the point of bare necessities, even though I look like a cabinet retailer these days. As a matter of fact, I just now finished packing a 12 place setting set of dishes for my STBX to give to his sister. YEAH! Big, chunky dishes. Anyway, if I can't see it up there, I'll never use it. They say the same thing about home file cabinets: Anything in them is reviewed on an average of ever 7 years. I've replaced my bases with drawers, so there'll be nothing hidden wayyyyy in the back. I'm trying to be logical. I envy you your machine, though! My machine is over 25 years old. Broken handle [LOL], broken top on the carafe -- love the duct tape! -- but still steaming along. :) I gotta look up the spindle for my Cuisinart. It became brittle and splintered once while in use. Not good. Thanks for the idea! Similar to the 'Broken Teeth' thread. Very useful.

Did someone say YELLOW! Kate and I agree. Put a little sunshine in the mix and your daylily world will be much brighter. Love the picture of Dances with Giraffes. Amazing that that is the ffo. Usually you have to forgive the first bloom of the season. I like Coyote Moon and Heavenly Hidden Treasure is a pretty one too.........Maryl
