We Have the GE Monogram all refrigerator and all freezer and are very happy with them.

these aren't all frig/freezer, but you can put 2 24" or 30" Liebherr top frig/bottom freezer units together.

Bosch makes nice ones... though I believe they are the same fundamentally as the Thermadors...

Northland (owned by AGA) does too.

I seen on the internet there is a kenmore pro all fridge and freezer. I have not heard anything about them.

I saw the frigidaire twins for a great price (I think it was a great price anyway, haven't really shopped around. It was about $1500 for the set.) So I came here are read so many horrid reviews it has given me significant pause on that option. And, the salesman said it can't be used with an ice maker, which, if true, would mean we'd need an under counter ice maker as well.

I'd love (or, rather, dh would love) a counter depth all fridge/all freezer unit that worked well for under $2500.

I looked at the Frigidaire twins yesterday and there was an option to add an ice maker to the freezer. I too love the price but am worried about the comments about flimsy shelves and noise being an issue. Anyone have these that can comment? I would love to get these but don't want to make a huge mistake.

I was at Sears yesterday and they have 36" Kenmore Elite each separate freezer and frig for 1K each. If I recall, 16.9 c.f each. in stainless or stainless look. It looked good, esp going straight to Sears from Expo where comparable sizes were 6-8k.

After months of looking at all the choices, we have finially decided on the Kenmore Pro. They have a better interior than the Kenmore Elites. They run around 2K for an all fridge plus a trim kit.

In talking to the sales people, they said that the Elite All Fridge and Freezer, they mainly sell to like house flippers since it looks good on the outside but is really cheap.

Frigidair (sp) makes a commercial unit all freezer, all refrig, and all frig glass door- all have 19 cu ft - and are on castors for a nice look -they are about 1400 each

I want to put a follow up on this thread.

The GE Monogram all fridge all freezer units we purchased are both giving us problems that, according to the independent service technician, are showing up in more and more older models. In other words as the units age they develop these issues. I guess we are "lucky" in that they happened while we were still in warranty.

First, the fridge was getting moldy. Mold was growing on the walls, shelves and even condiment containers and other containers that potentially are in the fridge for a while. I am cleaning the fridge every weekend, spending a couple hours at a time on it. Turns out that GE considers this within normal functioning parameters as the fridge is still getting cold enough. It is also developing rust. According to the technician - there is no fix for this.

Second, the freezer is growing BIG hunks of frost on the back wall and according to the same technician this is indicative of "something big about to happen" although he refused to elaborate.

So now I have two built in, custom panelled appliances purchased with the intent that they last MANY years and which will now need to be replaced.

Be warned - stay away or if you must go with this line - at least go in with your eyes open.

loves2cook4six - you have got to be kidding me! How old are your units? I am still extremely happy with mine and feel very lucky, but now I'm going to be worried. How long were they in before they developed problems? Yikes!

We have had the frigidair all frezzer, and all refrigerator for almost a year now, and we are very happy with them.

We spent big bucks on the Wolf range, and the Miele dishwasher, and when people see our kitchen they are most impressed with the fridge frezzer, that wasn't much more money than what "normal" people spend on appliances. LOL

Our units were installed in October 2007.

Bob, we looked at those units and really liked them but got a great deal (not) on the GE units which could accept panels (an important part of the design.)

Hi, I was hoping to find out how your GE all fridge all freezer was working now, my sister is having the mold problem after having them for almost a year and ice in freezer. I am building new and don't know if I should dare get these - I have 4 kids so I need a big fridge/freezer but I don't want big problems. Thanks for any helpful info.

As I speak I am also emailing our appliance salesman. The freezer was "repaired" by GE but now has more ice build up than ever before. Hopefully we can send it back and buy another brand. See my post at the top of this page. We are looking what other brands will fit in the hole left when the freezer goes.

The fridge has been mold free for a few weeks now as I poured bleach down the drain from both sides. However the rust problem is still there, getting worse and cannot be repaired. Most likely the fridge will need replacing within 3-5 years.

Fortunately I have an extended warranty compliments of the store I purchased at. They're losing money on this one big time.

Cindy we finished our kitchen remodel in Oct. 2007, so we are right at a year now, with still no problems.

We bought the Monogram 48" SxS builting for the kitchen and an Frigidaire all freezer unit for the pantry. Both have proven trouble free since installed in March 2005.
