Please share pictures of your window over your sink!
Comments (2)Have you checked the Finished Kitchen Blog? You'll see some great ones there. I love Cali_Wendy's wooden valance over her sink. You can do a search for it below on this page or use the more reliable Google search if you can't find it here. There was also a thread not too long ago about WT (window treatments) in the kitchen. You might search for that too....See MoreShare pictures of your pocket/closet/tiny office please!
Comments (1)We don't have a spare bedroom for an office, so we transformed a closet in our main bedroom into my office space. I'm still deciding on a chair, but here's the space. I found some great "office in a closet" spaces on Houzz too. Here is a link that might be useful: Houzz - office in small spaces...See MoreWill you share a picture of your home?
Comments (104)Pamghatten, the colors in your pictures are stunning! Mtnrdredux, that is a skylight and I hate it. It's over the middle of the kitchen and adds about 100 degrees of heat to the room. I've been exploring options to add a motorized solar shade that would filter out some of the sunlight during the hottest parts of the day. I can't put in a reflective shade because the build-up of heat could blow out the glass. I love your new beach house, BTW...gorgeous!!!...See MoreHeatherash8210 - Any Pictures of your finished kitchen?
Comments (5)I've been buying a cabinet here and there from Brian at The Cabinet Joint.com. They're Conestoga. Buying from them you have the option to assemble at home, which I do. An upper takes me about 15 minutes and it's putting glue on it that takes the longest! The first cabinet is overwhelming, but then you get the pattern. Their instructions and videos are nice, too. I love these cabinets. When I have the money, I will buy more. I can get my beaded inset and pretty much anything I can think of. If you'd like to see a Conestoga full catalogue, go to their site. A storefront might not make all the choices available. I have run into that. In my MBR I've been making a full, 16' 10" Tansu, which requires an unusual depth of 18". They don't blink. I have a 21" Credenza I'm building in the kitchen, then normal cabinets I've made myself in the kitchen/dining room. IOW, they're flexible! These are solid, well done cabinets. Down to the inth detail! I can't say enough about how much I love them. The icing on the cake is Brian's infinite patience with this chick who is learning as she goes. No DH necessary, not even any tools other than a mallet and glue. (A nail gun is a plus, but you can use other things.)...See Moreetcncr
