There a thousands of tile options. Pretty much any small scale or mosaic tile will work.

What look are you going for here? That cabinet is a pretty traditional with the shaker panels, but it could lend itself to a whole bunch of styles. Are you trying to bring in some south florida art deco?

I tried a linen look dark grey tile yesterday..don't think that will work..too modern?

I am looking for something clean and bright, spa like? No south florida deco..transitional? I can only find pics of the tile with the hex tile on the floor. I would hate to just use a regular tile here..want it to be spectacular! The rest of the house is just stone look tile, nothing special. Wanted this room to be fresh, not too traditional.

If you like the hex tile look but want to step it up a notch, they have hex in marble. Also, they have basket weave patterns in black and white marble.

If you like traditional with a twist, have you looked at penny tile in a light blue or aqua?

It sounds like you need to put down the computer and go to a tile store. There are tons and tons of option to chose from.

This is cool! I went to the great idea photo website houzz dot com. In the search box at the top I typed the words white subway tile bathroom.

The photos that resulted are great and you can see the floor in a lot of them. So many approaches but I suggest you spend time with them and do 'save as' to your PC to keep as inspiration photos. I did that with kitchens and printed the photos taking my favorites with me when I went tile shopping to show the salespersons. Shopping in person for tile really helps since people who work there know more than I did about tile and design. Here our tile stores were so busy back then (pre recession) that it was best to make an appointment to get full attention at the store. Good luck!

Funny, I just changed my decision on my bathroom floor last weekend before this post or the pics in Houszz.

We're now planning on doing a guaged slate for the floor that is black/grayish similar to first and fourth pic.

we were going to do a 1inch hex with black interspirsed, but decided it was too traditional and not what we're going for.

How about Vein Cut Travertine in Silver? I think it will give the bathroom texture and color

Thanks I love the travertine! I picked Kaleido Porcelain in Grigio. Similar to the travertine color. One inch hex carrera marble tile in shower, glossy white subway for shower wall..think it will be gorgeous! Fingers crossed!
