has anyone mixed tiles ?

Not just an occ accent type Maybe lile a stone look... like different shades. What color tile would go with the dark gray ? Besides white??/ I want to use different tiles around here . Leftover. Can cut the ones that are not the same size with a tile saw. trying to save money and use what is available...

The one I like the most is a porcelain. 6 by 6 tile It is a beautiful dark gray. Bought the box years ago to do the hearth. But Hubby went with some other tile his sister had leftover.

so how can I find out what would go with it. Since I am not artistic???

now this would be just around the bottom 1/3 of wall

otherwise will check out local stores for a closeout. or CL >
