Well, thanks again. CTC, Mantis is correct that is Open My Eyes, and it does very well for me in zone 5. I bought it at Cottage Gardens actually!! The darker purple in the back of the eyed section is Gillian. Marg, Hold Your Horses is a Trimmer, I bought it from a seller here in zone 5, so I know it will grow well. Jean, thanks ( it's Bowie, and he has been taking it easy) Linda, I like the four paws rating system!! LOL. Vickie, Hold Your Horses is such an impressive daylily, I could see it from across the gardens where I bought it!! It just drew you in. Tobyjones, you should get Citrix, Maryott had it, but I was able to find it from a local grower, and I do blame Kay for making me go get it!!! hahahahaha. Thanks Kay! cindy

I wish that Savlon was available in the US. I guess I could buy it off of Amazon. This is a great thread, it's so old though, probably most of the products suggested have been discontinued...HA! My best beauty SECRET is something I just heard about a few months ago and have been doing it ever since. While watching an older (62) youtuber (what exactly do you call these people?) she was speaking of beauty tricks and she told us that years ago, she heard a plastic surgeon say that if women would do this exercise daily, they would never need a face lift. So of course I started do this since I'm in my fifties now. What you do is make a face as if you are smiling as big as you can possibly smile, teeth together but lips apart, you tighten your neck and raise your eyebrows. Do this for 15 seconds, release and do again 10 times a day. Since I have been doing this exercise, I have noticed a remarkable change in my saggy jawline. I have also noticed that my eye lids aren't as saggy either. I will continue to do this forever! I'm sold!

Sally, congratulations. I love porches you can actually sit on and the floors will be lovely when they are all polished up and done right. I actually kind of like the cabinets in the kitchen but the black appliances are kind of dark. Keeping the floor the shade it is, it will probably look a lot bigger with lighter cabinets, countertops, etc. Of course, I'd just paint everything white, LOL, except the floor! And I love that old tree, it would make a great "horse" for a little cowboy, also a fort to protect him from marauding Indians and a great outlook to spy outlaws ready to attack and maybe a ship discovering new worlds and very possibly a rocket..... I've tried the Sally Hansen strips and didn't care for them, in fact returned them to Ulta for a refund. I also use the Red Carpet kit and like it but it only lasts me about a week at which point I peel them off. I have my own uv manicure lamp, and haven't used the one which came w/the kit I purchased. In addition I use the CND shellac products. It lasts a wk, maybe a little longer, and requires a little more effort to remove. I'm not sure if it is these products or winter but my nails have become very weak so I'm giving them a break and concentrating on getting them in better condition before using them again.
