Have you gone to look at any of these in person to see if you like them or not, to me that is the biggest thing to do. I loved the look of one model but hated how the racks and doors felt and after that wouldn't consider it even if it was the best rated product on the market. I personally am considering the 30" version in a single wall oven for the Electrolux and love the look and feel, though I am putting that up against a Wolf as to which we will end up buying to be honest.

I have the Kenmore Elite induction cooktop and a Kenmore Elite wall oven that is installed below the cooktop. Overall, I am very happy with my purchases. The only criticism I would have would be the size of the oven and the placement of the racks. I find the oven cavity smaller than my previous Dacor and there are fewer placements for the 3 racks. I often find myself pulling out a rack and only using two due to the lack of distance from one rack to the other. On the other hand, the induction cooktop is awesome! I am not sure what the difference is from that and the super high end versions, but it cooks like a dream and is incredibly fast. The Kenmore versions are also a lot cheaper than the other brands. I have posted this before in other threads but here is a pict of them again.

Just spoke with the sales person at Sears who told me the KE Oven/MV combo #48903 is new and just came into the showroom. We selected a KE 36" induction cooktop, KE #2490 which is an 2009 model (with good reviews) as opposed to other 36" CT, KE # 4292 (2010 model) with poor reviews. Just ordered the matching KE Warming Drawer Model #49313 for $549 Now we are deciding on a DW, either a Kitchen Aid (KUDE70FX) $1297, or KW Model #13973 $1317. I believe the KA has really good reviews from AJ Madison and Consumer Reports. The only other model we considered was a Meile Diamante for about $1349. We are probably going to panel the DW, so looks might not be a factor at this time. Before I commit to a delivery date, does anyone have any feedback ? The savings on these appliances are enough to allow for the purchase of a upgraded Signature Cabinets line and custom Banquet/Table.

Hi Snow, It's not really a slide-in, but it's not really free standing either. It's more of a hybrid in that it doesn't hang over your counter tops, but it doesn't have a back guard with control panel. It's the GE cafe (model CGS980SEMSS). Sorry to say though that the baking drawer is located at the bottom, not over the main oven. I'm not sure if that's the look you're going for, it's very "industrial" looking as opposed to sleek.
