I've had 95103 since May 2017. I'm very happy with it. I was complaining above that it seemed slow...that was in comparison with my mom's GE induction cooktop that I got to use briefly last July. I've been cooking on mine longer, and used my mom's GE more over the holidays, and I think they both cook well. I do like that the Kenmore has knobs instead of buttons for the burners, though I'm sure I'd adjust to the buttons if I had a different range. I also like the convection oven. Sometimes I wish I'd gotten the slide-in version to avoid the small gap with the countertop, but I think the free-standing was $1000 cheaper. I think the big question is reliability and how long it lasts...still too early for me to say.

Hi Snow, It's not really a slide-in, but it's not really free standing either. It's more of a hybrid in that it doesn't hang over your counter tops, but it doesn't have a back guard with control panel. It's the GE cafe (model CGS980SEMSS). Sorry to say though that the baking drawer is located at the bottom, not over the main oven. I'm not sure if that's the look you're going for, it's very "industrial" looking as opposed to sleek. For every appliance I have ever owned, I have always bought Ext. Warranty. Sometimes I have needed it, and sometimes not. My Mom had 5 year Ext. warranties on her very expensive, top of the line GE washer & dryer. The dryer gave her a lot of problems about 4 years into ownership. After Sears/GE tried several repair attempts, they finally gave her all her money back and she bought a new dryer. Money WELL spent on an Ext. warranty! Years ago, I needed a substantial repair on a Miele oven. I believe they told me the repair was well oven $1000.00. My $249 Ext. warranty covered every cent of the service, labor and parts. ALWAYS think of Ext. warranties like car insurance. Most of the time you will never need it, but man when you do need it.....You are so darn happy you have it!! :) -Larsi

Frigidaire is simply the Electrolux's North American subsidiary for major appliances. If an Elux appliance is made here, it is made in a Frigidaire factory. The "Electrolux" brands are used for the more upscale models with Frigidaire brands being segmented between plain Frigidaire, Frigidaire Gallery and Frigidaire Pro (which sometimes aimed at the Elux market, too.) They pretty much all come out of the same factories. There will be some variation in materials, but the differences are mostly a matter of features and capabilities and design/aesthetic/appearance. Going upmarket does not necessarily mean more reliability and durability. Sometimes the extra features mean that there are just more things that can go wrong and result in more problems as you go further upmarket (which apparently has been the case for SxS and FD fridges bardged as Electrolux and Frigidiare Pro).
