Windowbox Romas, to pinch or not to pinch

When I search for images of WindowBox Roma plants, the commercial pictures show it as having a low spreading growth, but a couple of the home grower photos show it as more columnar plant.

i realize that WBR roma seeds from different sellers may show different growth habits, so I may not be comparing apples to apples. However, I do want to put these in an actual windowbox, and would not want them to bloc the view.

I've never nipped determinate tomato seedlings before, but I am tempted to do so with these, once they reach 6" or so. Would this be detrimental to the plant?

thank you,
snc
